Meanwhile Farm

I went camping at Site T2 at Meanwhile Farm with my friends, and we had a fantastic time! The experience was peaceful and enjoyable—just what we needed to unwind. The farm setting was such a lovely bonus. We were pleasantly surprised to find that blueberry picking was available right there on the property, which added a really fun, fresh‑air activity to our stay. Scott was wonderful—super friendly and full of helpful details. He made everything smooth and welcoming, which made the experience even better. All in all, it was a great trip with friends, and we’d absolutely recommend it. Location, activities, and hospitality all came together beautifully!

My family loved camping at Scotts farm ! It's very beautiful and well maintened. My children loved feedind and patting the animals. Scott is really caring and takes care of his campers and makes sure they are comfortable. I recommend it without hesitation and we will definetely return if we have another stay in this region.

More than perfect!! Scott and all of family running the business are amazing and really nice people☺️.The place décor is stunning and well think ( so Instagram photo friendly).so quiet for camping in the Fields.animals were also part of the family and also so friendly and cute!!A lot to say !!! Breathtaking Camping Experience

Meanwhile Farm in East Gwillimbury is a hidden gem! We were four girlfriends who camped, did goat yoga, and picked the juiciest blueberries. Scott, Lisa, and their lovely daughter went above and beyond to make our stay special. Warm, welcoming, and wonderfully memorable—can’t wait to return!

Such a great, private, relaxing and quiet camp site! Scott and his wife were both so lovely and helpful and they let us pick some blueberries! Its a bit of a walk (1-2min) from the tent sites to the bathroom but the facilities made it worth the walk. They were adorably decorated and much nicer and cleaner than most campsites ive seen. They had some geese and a barn kitties around too. The 1 cat was so friendly I wanted to take her home with me lol (I didnt don't worry!) We camped here so that we could have an easy (~1hr) drive into downtown Toronto to see a musical. Also was an easy drive the next morning to Wasaga (~1.5hr). Honestly, was a great location for this and would definitely come back! Side note: you mentioned you host weddings there and I'd consider hosting mine here, I had a great visit and it was such a cute location. You can really tell you put a lot of care and thought into creating and maintaining this space! Thank you for having us :)

Our group of 2 adults and 2 kids had a great time camping at Meanwhile Farm! The site had ample room for our vehicle, large sleeping tent and another large dining shelter. Scott kindly met us even though we arrived very late. The kids loved meeting the farm animals and playing in the fields. The bathroom & kitchenette set-up was much more than we were expecting, and made everything very convenient.

First off, the host himself was absolutely amazing. We didn’t arrive till very late at 1:40am and he waited OUTSIDE for us to arrive in his pjs. He’s a very nice kind man and will address any of your concerns/requests immediately. He even offered for us to stay in the barn on couches instead of setting up camp in the dark. Site #2 was quiet and clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. I would recommend this place to others and would come back myself again. Wish there was a place like Scott’s closer to where I live.

What stood out to me about Scott’s land was how well-organized the campsite was. The toilet facilities were exceptionally clean, and the service was top-notch. The farm itself is beautiful, and Scott, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Future Hipcampers can expect a great experience here!

Meanwhile Farm is a perfect spot to stay at if you plan on going into the city. It's a nicely decorated farm great for small or large groups of people. The owner Scott is an awesome lad. Very kind, relaxed and flexible. I highly recommend staying here.

Camping at Meanwhile Farm is an awesome experience. The spectacular scenery gave me a sense of peace, and I realized that Scott is a wonderful owner. He provided practical directions that helped me dispose of garbage properly and refill with treated water.

A wonderful farm camping experience

Site T1 was more than large enough for us, accommodating our SUV, a large tent, and a smaller tent, with plenty of space left over. It was also conveniently close to the restrooms and showers, yet still offered great privacy. A big thank you to Scott for inviting us to join the campfire—he truly is a kind and welcoming host. My child also enjoyed the farm animals, making it a truly wonderful experience.

Amazing stay and a hidden gem

We loved staying at the Meanwhile Farm! Such a nice spot to relax and spend the long weekend. The site was very spacious and private. Scott and Lisa were incredible hosts and provide so much amenities. There is also quite a bit of activities you can do right at your doorstep such as visiting the super friendly donkeys, blueberry picking and enjoying the evening at the bonfire. We would definitely stay again.

Scott and Lisa were very accommodating and very nice. We had a wedding planned in our trip and they made sure to help where ever they could. The grounds were beautiful, and even though we didn't have time for the sauna or fire pit, Scott even invited us over one night to the firepit and we'd definitely love to try the sauna in the future because we'd definitely return. The bathrooms were clean, the outdoor shower was lovely, and everything about staying on the farm was super convenient. Would definitely recommend, and when we get back up to the Toronto area, would definitely stay here again.

We loved Scotts Land. Scott and his wife were wonderful and super helpful. the site was clean and beautiful. the kids loved exploring and feeding the animals. The outdoor shower was a nice touch and the bathroom was clean and cozy, but spacious.

If we didn’t live so far away in a different country, we would be regulars here. Scott was very accommodating and great to visit with. The bathrooms were an upgrade for what we are used to when we usually camp, “farm chic”. The sauna was fun to use as well as the outdoor shower. The kids loved feeding the friendly donkeys. And to wake up from a night in a tent and have a hot cup of coffee waiting for you, can’t beat that!

Blueberry Camping

We loved it so much, we decided to change our travel plans and stay longer! Scott and Lisa were really kind, thoughtful, and proactive hosts. They brought us a half pint of blueberries, set up a tent over our picnic area when it started raining, and invited us to a fire they set up in their giant fire pit. The campsite had tons of privacy! Even though it was across a field, the wildflowers were tall enough that we could barely see the top of our car from the front. The spot where we pitched our tent was flat and well drained. We were visited by a turkey hen and some of her clutch. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

A great place to camp with a beautiful communal fire pit. The facilities are clean and the activities are great. My girlfriend and I had a great time seeing all the wildlife that inhabited the farm. Such as the very cute Steve and Carol who are donkeys that live in a near by barn. We had a great time, the sight was wonderful. A big thank you to the host for their incredible hospitality.

We stayed two nights at Scott’s place and it was really great. He has a really beautiful place, well maintain. There is lot of space between the site so you can have a lot of privacy. The outdoor hot shower was really great. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, I definitely recommend this place.

An absolute go!

We spent an excellent weekend at Meanwhile farms! Scott and Lisa were extra accommodating, especially as we came to their place by bike (20 minutes bike ride from East Gwillimbury GO station). Amenities were clean and well-maintained, and the outdoor shower even had warm water, which we didn't expect. We were also able to sit by the fire, use the sauna and play some games in the common areas. You shouldn't hesitate to choose this camp!
