My family loved the tent. It was very private, comfortable and cozy. Laura was very considerate and my kid loved her. She made us feel right at home.
We highly recommend this property. We will be visiting soon again.

Laura and Dale were fantastic hosts! The fresh eggs were delicious, the cooking area had everything you need, the surroundings were beautiful and the hot tub and outdoor shower were fabulous! The glamping tent offered some amazing sleeps with the open mesh breezes.
Mosquitoes and bugs are plentiful, but that's to be expected with camping and the outdoors, so come prepared!
Overall, a wonderful retreat for anyone wanting to experience the outdoors with a little more comfort.

Nestled deep in the heart of Grey county's lush forest, Laura and Dale's glamping site was a hidden gem that provided the perfect balance of nature and comfort.
The private tent was located at the end of a 10 minutes walking trail; it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained —offering an inviting blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The tent was featuring a queen bed on frame, two nightstands, a collapsible couch, and a low table. On the outside area, there was a functional and clean peat toilet, a camping table, a fire camp, 4 outdoor chairs and a well furnished outdoor kitchenette with BBQ, propane bottles and potable water tank. An outdoor shower with warm water is also located near at the start of trail.
What truly set this experience apart were the hosts. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel right at home. They provided helpful tips for nearby hiking trails and even prepared a delightful hole-made honey jar for our intention. It was evident that they genuinely cared about their guests’ comfort and experience.
The surrounding forest was a picturesque backdrop for relaxation, with the soothing sounds of nature enhancing the tranquility: especially enjoyed the rain sound on our last night.
Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a family adventure, this glamping site is ideal. I left feeling rejuvenated and eager to return.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort!

The bell tent and campsite were well equipped and comfortable, and the site itself was private. Laura and Dale were really welcoming and accommodating hosts. The chickens and the very sweet cat Meowie were an added delight. Would definitely book here again.

Beautiful property. The forest is amazing with a lot of biodiversity. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and cooking/cleaning.
The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly. I highly recommend this stay.

This site is truly special. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing immersion into nature with the comfort of a bed, kitchen, and some electricity... Laura and Dale's tent is the spot. We stayed in early spring as the forest woke up and endless trilliums bloomed. The site is a 5-ish minute walk on winding double track from the house, shower, and parking, which puts all of that well out of site and sound. They provide wagons which makes moving coolers and baggage very easy.
Laura and Dale are very thoughtful hosts and clearly put so much care into their property and campsites. It was a birthday trip for my partner and we found a card and and a few other small touches waiting for us which made it that much more special.
We'll likely be coming back here next time we make a trip to the Bruce!

It was pretty and had everything we needed. Glad we chose the tent because the cabin was awfully close to the house. The stars were pretty. The coyotes, chickens, and hosts were friendly.

Laura’s land was absolutely stunning. We rented the tent for our short stay. When we first pulled onto the property we were greeted by chickens. It was a lovely little trail walk to the tent in the forest. As soon as we got there Laura came out and greeted us. There’s wagons to help bring your stuff to the campsite.
The campsite was the perfect set up for people who want to spend time in the great outdoors but want to do a little glamping. The bathroom was incredibly clean for an outside outhouse and there was an automatic light inside! So helpful for nighttime. Plus there was peat moss to cover your business until you’re no longer embarrassed.
All cooking material is provided which made cooking more pleasurable. They provided lots of water for cleaning dishes and washing hands.
You hear the coyotes at night and it was such a thrilling part of the adventure.
My only criticisms would have been the bed was uncomfortable for me but I am someone who is very picky when it comes to where I sleep and the clouds were blocking the stars the nights we stayed.
You can tell there has been loads of thought and love put into this land and we greatly appreciated the hospitality and set up. Strongly recommend this place if you are considering.

Beautiful, serene, private and highly recommended. The numerous amenities make this stay so comfortable and cozy, while the natural setting immerses you within the forest. Having a private (and very well stocked) kitchen area, bathroom, shower and firepit sets this wonderful stay apart from so many others. You just need to show up and enjoy! I suggest exploring the site as well: the tent is stocked with games, books, puzzles, mozzie coils and other camping goodies.
The optional experiences are such a clever addition as well, and I had the pleasure of having Laura prepare breakfast for me. She said she loves to cook, but she obviously also cooks with love. Her breakfast menu was considerate of my dietary needs and very very tasty.
Far enough from nearby towns to enjoy truly dark and clear skies at night, but near enough to hidden little gems to hike, swim, shop and munch. We will be back!

This was my second stay with Laura and it was even better than the first as Laura continues to make little upgrades. We were a group of 4 women and we stayed at both the tent and the cabin. The amenities were great, and the cabin and tent were clean, cute and cozy.

I loved my solo stay in Stargazing Bell Tent at Laura's! The site was easy to get to and very private. It had everything I needed for a perfect low maintenance camping getaway. The kitchen and private bathroom and shower were both well stocked. Laura was a great host and the use of the hot tub was a great perk! The location was amazing, easy drives to both Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Great hikes nearby too! I am already planning my next trip with some friends! Thanks again Laura!

That was the best glamping ever. Laura’s place is very nice and cozy, easy to access. The tent looks even better than on the photos. We enjoyed making bbq near our tent and thanks to Laura’s recommendations we had a very nice experience traveling around. Highly recommend this place and this host.

What a magical location! Wonderful tent, set back in woods with only birdsong to listen to. The tent and kitchen area are both well provisioned with everything you will need, including a bbq with side burner to cook on. Laura also gave us fabulous suggestions for local hikes and dining. Two thumbs up for this great glamping experience.
