We had an amazing stay on Liz H’s land! The campsite was peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing escape. We walked the trails on the property and they were absolutely beautiful, quiet, scenic, and full of birds and wildlife.
One of our favorite parts was the daily visits from Luna, the sweetest cat, and even Mr. Tom Cat, who started off a bit shy but warmed up and came by regularly for some affection. The free-range chickens were also a fun and friendly presence, we loved feeding and petting them!
The hosts were wonderful, so kind and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed and more. There was dry firewood available for purchase, a hose with fresh well water for our trailer, and even their homemade maple syrup, which was delicious.
Such a special spot with great people and a peaceful, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautifully green and full of fireflies. Always a wonderful place to stay…solitude without isolation. Liz and Jason are the best hosts. New addition of the portable toilet is great, as well, for those who are a little more picky.

Liz & Jason have created a wonderful, relaxing site on their property. Very attentive hosts who are happy to share their local knowledge. Also have some homemade treats available for purchase on the property. We loved our weekend camping with friends and looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a 1 night stay with friends at Liz’s it was wonderful and super private. Liz and her husband were so friendly, they showed us options where we could stay, where the hiking trails are and told us all about their great farm! They are so accommodating bringing us super dry fire wood and even a grill for the fire pit to cook on! We will definitely be back and will absolutely be buying some farm fresh eggs for breakfast and maple syrup if we are lucky enough!

As always, a beautiful and tranquil time. It is definitely the place I go when I need a reset. I would recommend it to everyone.
Beyond always making sure you are located at the site most appropriate for your wants and needs, Liz is super attentive and generous. I have found that she actively solicits feedback to make sure campers are as comfortable as possible.
Be mindful that the setting is well forested around the sites so you’ll need to come equipped for various insects and mosquitoes. There is plenty of wildlife, as well, so be prepared to store your food and trash securely.
Again, a fantastic time and I can’t wait to go out during berry picking season!

We had an amazing experience staying on Liz’s land. The land is beautiful with forests and clearings. We loved the little trails and seeing what they had going on on the property. The children loved feeding the chickens and exploring the forest. Liz and Jason were amazing hosts and gave us space, but made us feel very welcome too. We came during the maple syrup season and they invited us to their sugar shack and shared some of their freshly made maple syrup with us, as well as some hot chocolate made with the maple sap. Our children got to meet their two day old chick. What a beautiful experience. We can’t thank them enough and look forward to returning again in the summer.

This was my second visit to the site and it was as amazing as the first. Liz and her husband were so accommodating and made some great recommendations that made the location of my campsite even more secluded. At this time of year, the leaves were gone so they showed me a location further in that was just beautiful. Unfortunately, I ended up having to leave abruptly due to illness. I was concerned about the fire still steaming and let Liz know it was. She was kind enough to tell me she would check on it and I was able to focus on just getting home. I’ve said it before and will say it again, definitely my regular go to spot now.

I was really looking for a feeling of peace and seclusion and I definitely found it here.
Liz was a wonderful host and showed me around the property on arrival. I was also invited to grab eggs if I wanted (wished I hadn’t brought a dozen!).
I ended up camping on my own, so Liz was extremely considerate, reaching out to see if I was doing okay and had everything I needed. Water was easy to get and is actually quite refreshing. Firewood was more than a reasonable price, especially since it was delivered directly to my site along with a five gallon pail of water.
My final night was the most amazing with a clear sky, full moon and tons of stars.
It is definitely a little chilly this time of year, but as soon as the weather warms, this spot will become my regular oasis when I need to escape.

This is an amazing spot. The hosts are the very best. The spot looks like it might not be private, but it is very private. I was lucky enough to see a deer. Do bring bug spray! I would stay here again in a second.

Our experience started with meeting Liz and Jason who are a lovely and super friendly couple. We started exploring the woods in their property, which is so large, and got a tour from their nice son. There are a lot to discover and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful deer from a close distance. You can find many locations in the property great for photography. While there is a lot to see if you’re looking for some into-the-wood walk, the campsite is quite peaceful and relaxing to just sit next to the fire and enjoy your evening. The location is far from light pollution so we could do some night sky star spotting too.
Liz gave us a basket of fresh eggs and jams free of charge. You’ve got to taste them. My wife loved them and we bought a few more jars. Liz was so generous to give us some extra eggs too.
Thank you Liz and Jason! We’ll definitely come back!

Liz was very friendly and welcoming. Her property is is incredible with lots of wild flowers growing and wild life to greet you, such as, we saw several fox, a bald eagle, several hawks, Turkey buzzards, butterflies & Liz has chickens too. We woke up and were given free range eggs for breakfast & Liz was kind enough to lend us some butter that we forgot at home. We would totally recommend this site for camping. It’s way better than Port Burwell camp park!

Property has many hidden corks that I won’t spoil but are must sees
When you visit please give Dorkis a pet for me
Wander out of your secluded camp site in the morning and up to the chicken coops to feed the chickens and if your lucky they will provide you with eggs for your breakfast !
Drinkable water as well as a big bucket of water to safe guard your fire and wood available for purchase
