Host is very generous, provided us lots of
firewood and equipment. The downside is there are so many bugs, all the time. It is a tiring walk up to the campsite (which is nice for privacy but just make sure your Athletic). The town is kinda scary and there’s not a lot to do but the beaches are beautiful and peaceful.

Rustic beauty
I loved tent camping at Lisa’s land, as it was private and had breathtaking
views. There is an outdoor shower that was nice to have on a warm summer.

Glamping with a tranquil view
Glamping at its Best!
This was a magical location. Just gorgeous in every possible way. Only drawback is lack of water on site and a very steep hill which most vehicles may not be able to drive up to. Otherwise the accommodation was incredibly cozy. The wood burning stove was a treat.

Cozy and Peaceful
This was the coziest spot to spend a solo eve. Highly recommend and I’ll 100% be back for more days as well as some of Lisa’s treatments!

Relax and Rejuvenate
Lisa's land is absolutely perfect. She has open fields and lots of forest and an amazing view! She was so welcoming and we shared great conversation and she's done a lot of work to make her property very versatile for different styles of travel while offering comforts like an outhouse and shower. She also is a skilled healer and has really nice optional add-ons to treat yourself and relax while on her property!

Glamping with a tranquil view
Lisa is a lovely host. The property is beautiful. Our tent was strong and managed to with stand the strong rain and winds that we had one night. I’m a mushroom forager and the forest across the street in front of the house is great for foraging mushrooms and great for going for a nice hike or walk since there isn’t much underbrush. Lisa does a wonderful Shiatsu massage which I partook of and loved.

A peaceful place
Wonderful spot to camp, easy to find. A peaceful, quiet, starry night made for a great experience. Lisa met me at our agreed time and showed me the grounds. Where I stayed is tucked away up a hill, secluded but close by. Was just there for a quick overnight and early departure, but I would come back again. Lisa clearly loves her property, I think you will too!

Very enjoyable stay on the hillside
Lisa was welcoming right from the start! She was transparent about the development of the property as a retreat and other amenities available. You can see directly that she has knowledge of the area and the possible things to do around Combermere. Her breakfast were tremendous and are more than complete :)

Zen Den Canvas tent experience
Fantastic experience. Lisa has an amazing set up and is a great host. Accommodations were superb. Definitely go with adding the breakfasts. You won’t regret it. The hot tub was truly unique and relaxing after a day of paddling around. There’s also a propane heated outdoor shower which is phenomenal. The area is perfect to get out and explore and this is the place to stay.

Magical Land
Oh my gosh! The beautiful deer that greeted us as we pulled up to this magical land of fireflies, lush forest and grassy meadows set the tone for our 3 night stay. Very special land and enchanted with the almost deserted beach 20 min away. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the gurgling tiny stream running through the property was idyllic. Want to move here!!
