We found ourselves feeling relaxed and energized the whole time camping. The forests and land here at Laurenwood Farms are so peaceful and inviting – and Deborah’s an incredibly accommodating, kind hostess! We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day!

Deborah was such a good host! Very welcoming & gave us all the information we needed to enjoy the land. The BBQ, fire pit & extra long picnic table were such cherries on top of our expectations. Appreciated the extra care in outhouse maintenance. 10/10, would recommend. Beautiful environment overall.

The Forest at Laurenwood Farm
We had a wonderful time and Deborah took great care of us! After weaving our way on a narrow two track to our campsite we were pleased with the grassy clearing that was located close to the outhouse. Water was located in the barn which we drove our car to resupply. We enjoyed swimming and fishing (catch and release) in the pond, walks on the beautiful property, and just being in such a peaceful setting. Deborah treated our kids to a tractor ride tour of the property and went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. We’d certainly stay again!

This place is awesome! My buddy and I had a blast.
There’s a nice place to take a quick dip in a spring fed pond.
There’s also Lots of animals on the farm that you can have fun with
Great setup for camping. Level flat camping area and nice little fire place you can cook over if you want.

Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Deborah, our host. Leading us with her tractor, we were pleasantly herded by her two pups as we made our way to our site. We were delighted when presented with a lovely location nested at the edge of the wooded area. Deborah was incredibly accommodating, providing us with firewood and touring the site with us so that we were comfortable. Not being the only campers during our stay, she made sure to set us up with a site as far from others as possible to allow for quiet and privacy. We spent our time soaking in nature and taking a well needed break from the hustle of day-to-day life. Our stay was a magical experience, wandering amongst the trees, listening to the local wildlife, and watching Deborah’s bees hard at work amidst the blackberry bushes and apple trees. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer! We absolutely loved our stay, and can’t wait to visit again to explore the trails and meet the animals!

Deborah welcomed us at the property riding a tractor, with lovely dogs following behind. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome, and my 3-year-old, who loves trucks, was beyond happy and excited. The Barn provided a unique stay, and the horses were beautiful. Even when it rained, we had enough indoor activities to keep us busy, like the record player that my teenage son loved. There was lots of space to walk around on the site. We also enjoyed a tractor ride across the property. It was a relaxing and quiet experience, and we had an overall great time. We made lots of new memories. It's a must-visit!

Had a great stay on Deborah's farm this past weekend during my son's hockey tournament in the area. I was solo with my son staying with his mom at the teams Hotel. With all public campgrounds closed closed I was introduced to HipCamp. The site was excellent - very private, with lots of room to roam. Deborah is a great host.

If you're looking for a picturesque camping spot with pristine landscaping, look no further! This well-manicured land is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors. From the meticulously trimmed grass to the beautifully arranged flora and wonderful apple trees, everything about this camping site screams actual camping and relaxation. Deborah is friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this camping spot to anyone looking for an excellent outdoor experience.

It’s was super secluded and private! Full of nature, animals, trails and other things to see. A beautiful pond and garden as well! Would highly recommend as a one night or week long stay. Amenities were awesome and clean as well. Thank you!

Beeberry Cottage at Laurenwood Farm
The kids and I had such a glorious time at Deborah's farm. We did lots of walking through the farm and forest, watching the birds and animals, dangling our feet in the pond, eating local produce and relaxing by the secluded log cabin. Deborah was really lovely and helpful. We didn't want to leave!

Deborah was very kind and met us on arrival, as well as showed us around the property. The cabin site itself is nicely secluded on the large property so you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy yourself. The site is well-maintained overall, but keep in mind this is located in nature so things like spider webs/bugs are around within the cabin and around the deck/pantry area. Lots of area to explore and paths to walk along leading from the cabin.
The cabin is very small but sufficient for two people and the bed provided is quite comfortable (not too hard or too soft). Though there were some lights provided in the cabin and outside, they didn't appear to be working or were not charged (out of batteries, solar not charged up etc.) I would recommend bringing a few flashlights/lanterns if you'd like to properly light up the area in the evening. Despite the heat wave, the evening got quite cold, but there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm but in case you do run cold, bring some extra layers just in case.
Bathroom area was fine for an outhouse set up and there was no smell, but again had trouble working out the light so recommend having a light source with you for nighttime.
Bonus: wild raspberries around the beehive area were plentiful and delicious!

Overall the cabin is a cute and cozy secluded getaway and we had a wonderful weekend. It is very private and comfortable.. Unfortunately, there wasn’t quite as much of a farm experience as we were expecting. The kids loved interacting with the dogs and cat and two horses, but we were missing the ducks, geese, pigs, cows, goats and vegetable gardens we had seen on a previous visit. A few notes for future visitors - the cottage is an easy 5 minute or so walk from the main farm area. It is close-ish to some beehives and we did see some bees around the cabin. They were not a problem for us, but noting for anyone that might have an allergy. The trails through the forested section of the property weren’t really accessible for us, but we still enjoyed walking around the pastures and some shorter trails. That said, even with some rain, we did enjoy our stay and it had what we needed for a nice weekend away.

The Forest at Laurenwood Farm
I loved tent camping on this farm. There were some wild rasped berries that we were allowed to pick and add to our breakfasts. Deborah made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of trail space to walk and explore in the woods. We didn’t have good cell reception, but that was actually a blessing as it enabled us to really unwind and be in nature.

We stayed for one night in the bunkie. It was cozy and private, with a BBQ and fire pit. The site was a 5-minute walk from the farm and the pond, which was a great temperature for swimming. Overall a perfect stay! Will be back.

Had a lovely 2 nights at a hidden gem of a campsite! Deborah seemed to have everything we forgot to pack and the animals were big sucks for scratches and snuggles. Also had the most delicious fresh chicken on the BBQ 😋. Thanks for a great stay?

We had such a great weekend on Deborah’s farm. She was a great host, showing us all we needed to know when we arrived. Otherwise we were left to enjoy the property in solitude. A very private pitch with everything we needed.

Loved my stay on Debrorah’s land.
I was instantly greeted by her husband when I arrived and was given lay of land then taken to my site. If your looking for seclusion this is the place! My site was large and near the very clean and large outhouse. There was a bbq on the site if you need and a small fire pit area with a huge picnic table. The trails that run through the 100+ acres are what I really loved. Being able to jump on a trail whenever you wanted and explore the property was incredible. I walked the trails for so long I didn’t even get a chance to say hello to all the animals they have but figured it would leave that until I come back. I would highly recommend this location - all sites I found during my walks were special in their own way. You can’t go wrong here 😃
