Had a wonderful time at this beautiful location. Everything that we needed was taken care of. Rachel was an excellent host and I can't say enough about how helpful Brian was at making sure we were looked after. I will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience. Very peaceful. 100% recommended. Hosts were super nice. Made us feel comfortable, guided about each and everything upon our arrival. Enjoyed each & everything made available.

This was a lovely getaway away from the world! Well kept clean spot with a great fire pit, bbq and kitchen. Our favourite part was paddling across the lake to swim on the other side and relax on the rocks over there!

We loved the cabin. Very clean and the ac being on when we got there was nice. It rained a lot while we were camping. Unfortunately the wood wasn’t covered so we never got to have a fire when the rain stopped. Otherwise it was very peaceful !

We enjoyed our time here with our two dogs. The water was great for them to swim in, but a little too muddy/mushy/weedy for our liking (personal preference). There are a few beaches nearby that we took a short drive to, to cool off. The land was spacious enough that you didn’t really hear the people who were renting the cottage on the same land. There was a mix of shaded spots and full sun, which was nice. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises too! There were LOTS of mosquitos, so I would recommend packing anything to help keep them away. Rachel was quickly responsive to any questions we had during our stay.

Very good place when you want to unwind, because of the very quiet& peaceful place, You can do everything you want. we enjoy our stay and we have so much fun. For sure we going back again and invite some of our friends. Very reccommendale. 👍

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked our stay, Hipcamp as a whole is a new resource to us and this listing was also new at the time. With all the changing COVID protocols we felt this would guarantee a location to camp. We are used to secluded/private campsites and back country camping, so we simply set up at the far end of the available site. The waterfront site was a bit too weedy for our taste so we found Big Clear Lake nearby and used it as a means to cool off and refresh. We enjoyed fires in the evening on our site, fishing during the day and meals at the provided picnic table. We came with two large tents that fit on either side of the site, in fairly level spots to put them. Although we didn’t encounter any rain we noted that it would be tricky to set up tarps in the event of rain, requiring a fair bit of rope to make it happen.
The hosts were friendly and showed us around. They gave us our space to enjoy our stay, there are optional services they offer at various rates if you want to enjoy a boat ride or the like. With plans to expand in the future we could see this becoming a more similar experience to our typical “secluded” camping experience. For the time being we did appreciate being given our space for our stay. Overall we had a relaxing time I think we simply went in with the thought, or rather expectation, we would be able to access a more private spot on the property itself.

Kennebec Nature Escape
Very nice place to camp and Very nice and friendly owners .The place has a lot of space and is water front . We are a family of 5 and could fit 2 tents easily. We had a great time camping there . Rachel provide us a small boat and we went fishing with the kids , we had lots of fun .
We are looking forward to enjoy again next year

Wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome. Only flat spot for a big tent was directly beside the camper trailer. One one was in it while we stayed. Tarping was a bit of a challage but we made do. Swimming was not good, we went to the Arden beach, was great!

Gorgeous site and right on the water. The owners of the property and Rachel were friendly and accommodating. However some family members and friends of the owners came and went as they pleased (they were around a lot). Not a lot of privacy.
