Manuel was very friendly and welcoming, and the site had everything listed. It’s a bit unkept in parts, but the park itself is pretty.

It was a good experience overall. It could have been better if the site was well managed and maintained. It looked crowder as day ended. We had to ask our neighbours to kindly switch their torch lights direction as we were getting disturbed. Just that it’s near the Wasaga beach (15 minutes drive), people stay. Would suggest to book lesser, add signboards, improve privacy, and enhance maintenance.

Loved it. Only con is that some people have their generators on that can give a headache. Hosts are very good.

I went with my family and honestly for the amount of money we paid which was not cheap we expected things to be working like the showers. They were not working properly some didn't work at all. The rest I guess was ok. Would I go there again? I don't think so. Would find something better for what we paid.

It is a family campground with stationary trailers. When we arrived we could only see a patch of grass and no actual camping sites. There was a lot of tents located in a few places, no privacy at all. Grounds were full of goose excrement. Didn't see a clear place to "check-in". We decided not to camp there.

It appears the admin of the Hipcamp account does talk to the supervisors of the camp ground as they had no idea we were arriving, none of my messages were responded to on the app and no one picked up the phone to talk to me. There was no one there to greet us or instruct us so we ended up just picking a campsite.
Another thing was - my kid got stung 6 times after running to the playground to go down the slide - where a huge bees nest was hanging so she got attacked by the bees and stung all over. That was super upsetting.
When the campground supervisors did finally show up to question us, they smoked out the nest but it was still there when we were leaving. They literally had no idea we were coming and the phone number in the app is not theirs.
Apart from that - the campsite itself is nice, quiet and 10 mins drive to the beach. The river is only good for boating and you cannot wade in it or anything.
There were critters trying to break into my kitchen stuff overnight both nights too - raccoons I think.
Met some friendly folk in the trailers, enjoyed the stay otherwise

The staff were great, helpful when we arrived. The grass is well maintained, my dogs loved zipping around. The location is what drew us. I might go back in the future. My hesitation in saying “yes!” Is it depends on what you need. For the price, the amenities are limited.
