Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave.

A series of walking and ATV trails with a variety of terrain will keep you busy exploring your surroundings.  We have one campsite available for tent or RV/trailer campers. If you’re bringing an RV, the campsite requires levelling and there are no hookups.  We have an outhouse and a very small pine cabin with a porch that has a bunk bed - you and your group are free to use this during your stay.  There is tons of room for tents. We don’t have many amenities but the site is absolutely beautiful and the number of stars you can see on a clear night will leave you in awe. There is a small creek that runs through the property and the water is super clean and fresh. 2 wheel drive no problem

Remote plane crash with cabin

100% (25)
Cabin · Sleeps 12
The plane could sleep 2 and the cabin can sleep 5. Tents are welcome. There are 5 single mattresses in the new 12X18 cabin. Bring your own sleeping bag or bedding. The site is off grid with no water or electricity, just an outhouse. There is great cell service. There is a small wood stove (don't burn my cabin down!), and a fire extinguisher for emergency use. Nestled in the heart of 100 acres of lush forest with no visible neighbours, this is a perfect place to escape from the city and reconnect with nature. A series of trails with a variety of terrain will keep you busy exploring your surroundings.  Campfires are permitted and pets are welcome. Remember to bring your own food, water, firewood and tent if you wish. Ask me about the great swimming hole in Moorsburg just 10 minutes away. This is a secluded and quiet property, you will have complete privacy at your campsite! This is a very remote. and private campsite. It is roughly 1.6 km from the road, in a hard wood bush. There is also a cedar lined crashed airplane that can be used as a shelter for sleeping for one or 2 people It is a Piper Aerostar 601 (fastest twin engine piston plane in the world), with a long history behind it, of running drugs out of South America. We have a new 12X18 lofted insulated cabin with a wood stove, so bring some wood or help yourself to fallen hardwood.. Plenty of room for tents. Price is for 2 people, it is $15 per person extra per night. THIS IS A “LEAVE NO TRACE” CAMPSITE Please take all garbage with you. Definitely a unique experience in the middle of nowhere. Thank you to all the campers who have uploaded their own pictures!
