My family's favorite spot to camp! The new cabin was a great stay, very well built. The property is always beautiful with hours of hiking trails to enjoy! Very secluded, quiet and enjoyable experience. Thanks again for Hosting and cant wait to come back!

What a great place and I look forward to returning.
Rick was a great host and instructions were clear. The space was very private and the land is very well kept. Lots of trails near by to keep you busy.
The cabinwas very well insulated and the wood stove works fantastic with minimal effort. The plane was a very neat feature. My boy spent a good amount of time in there and made it his favorite camping spot.

We spent one night at Rick's Bunkie and it was awesome. There are endless trails to explore. It's very peaceful and quiet and the bunky gives an elevated camping experience. The plane crash is an added super cool bonus. Rick was there to welcome us and show us where to go and he was very welcoming and friendly. We will be back and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Rick's place was amazing! That plane was so cool, sleeping in it was a total blast. We were late, so we missed him, but he totally helped us get there by texting. He was super chill about letting us check out late. We're totally coming back!

I went to Heaven's Acre by myself, single woman, with my Border Collie, and had an amazing time. I rented the green Cabin. Absolutely beautiful lands with lots of trails to explore. The fire pit with its adjustable grill on top was so perfect and efficient. Rick was a great host. The PicNic table actually turns into 2 benches that you can put on both sides of the fire pit. Go well prepared with your own water, food, wood, and everything will be easy. The out house is simple but clean. The nights are quiet with pure Nature sounds. I felt safe at all times. Be aware of wild life all around you, like dears and coyotes. I did not see any. The night sky was stunning with lots of stars. (if the sky is clear). Thank you so much for such a peaceful and beautiful stay.

Everything was so private. We didn't see anyone the night we were there, granted it was raining the majority of the time. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back when there's a bit better weather to explore a bit more

Great trip! A lot of land to explore-Rick was a great host making sure we got settled. The bunk house had a lot of places to sleep and the plane was very cool!

Thanks for letting us “crash” in your plane! Perfect remote campsite, some unique birds and racoons made their appearance while we were there. Is this an amish made cabin? Woodwork was fantastic!

It was an impromptu decision to go for a camping the night before and the Heaven's Acre don't disappoint! Rick is a fantastic host and made sure we are comfortable before heading out. Though the night was a bit cold but we already anticipated that, a some snow! The place looks magical with snow! Definitely going back this summer!

my husband and I had a fantastic time camping on Rick's property.
the site was extremely private, you felt like you were all alone.
The cabin was very nice but it was a little squished with the single bed in there as well.
for people thinking of camping in the cabin it has 2 windows that open with screens and 2 vents close to the roof for good ventilation.
Rick was a fantastic host. We would love to go back!

It was pretty cool staying on Rick's land. Having the crashed plane on the site made it a truly unique experience, and learning its history made it even more intriguing.
There are many interconnecting trails to hike, and Rick took time out of his day to take us on a trail run in one of his atv's. That was super cool and exhilarating!

Camping at Rick's camp site was great! It was a wonderful experience for a "true" camping experience. The cabin, plane and outhouse were all in great condition, and the site has a nice little spot for the fire pit. We dealt with very few bugs and insects on our stay, and it was wonderful connecting with nature. The cell phone reception is good, but I found it most enjoyable to disconnect from my phone during our stay.
The owner Rick is friendly and chill, and it was fun taking a tour of the trails in his side-by-side. Firewood is available for purchase and Rick delivers it directly to the campsite by truck. It was fun gathering kindling from the nearby woods, building a campfire, and making s'mores.
During the day, you can walk around and see local wildlife like squirrels, frogs, and deer. On clear nights, you can walk just a couple minutes down the road to get a great view of the starry sky. Especially for my first time camping, the three of us had an amazing time!
Overall I would highly recommend trying out this campsite, and we would happily return.

Pleasant and peaceful location with a wonderful little cabin to sleep in.
The plane wreckage is as promised, super cool to see in person for everybody, especially fans of aviation. Worth staying in overnight if you can fit in comfortably.
The host was extremely considerate and accommodated our late arrival, personally guiding us to the campsite and giving an explanation of everything. He made sure to check in, and informed us of any possible safety concerns (coyotes yapping in the distance etc.)

Incredible place to stay. Host is wonderful. Took me and the kiddo out for a rip. Gorgeous landscapes and trails. Perfect shelter. Clean out house. Awesome foldable benches. Would love to come back.

This is the second time I've been to the place. First time at the plane crash cabin. This time at a bunkie. The laneway is quite off road. High clearance vehicle recommended.
The bunkie has a bunk bed and a loft bed with a ladder and some other tables and chairs. There are a solar motion light outdoors and a solar lights indoors. A firepits with benches. A outhouse. No shower. Cellphone reception is quite good.
Great price. And the hose showed me on the map where the bunkie is located. Recommended.

Me and my daughter's second time camping on Rick's Hipcamp. It was a great stay and being able to sleep in the plane was a very cool experience. Rick's is a great host and I highly recommend a stay here! Easy access but secluded enough to feel a million miles away from everything

Camping in the middle of the woods is a perfect way to connect with the nature. There’s a lot of stars too! Would recommend bringing warm blankets cause it gets really cold inside the cabin. Would def go back!
