The view was beautiful, the directions to the site were very clear / specific. The host was friendly and they have beautiful friendly dogs in which made the whole experience that much better!

My family and I spent Father’s Day weekend together on this beautiful farm with amazing views and some very cool animals to enjoy, the hosts of this property were both amazingly hospitable and so very welcoming and patient. I would definitely recommend visiting. And a special thanks to Brooks for being the best camp chaperone on four legs

We had a great time camping at Carl and Andrea‘s spot in the woods. The dogs were wonderful and getting to walk. The farm was definitely one of the highlights of our experience.

I really enjoyed my stay.i met Andrea in the farm store.Sourced with local product from meat to cheeses.Even local gourmet icecreams.She was helpful about the area and about my stay.i originally had Heart of the forest booked but fir myself as solo car camping I felt a little too open.would be great spot for families.so I switched to the Fringe set into the woods a bit and overlooking pasture and neighboring farmland.i was encouraged by Carl and Andrea to wander the farm.it was perfect time of year for lambs.i was always accompanied by their 2 beautiful dogs and had a few visits with the pups at my site.i brought some carrots to feed the horse.this is a very serine space.so if you like birds chirping,roosters crowing,lambs baking and a crackling fire then this is the place for you.

Carl and Andrea were lovely and their property was perfect for a fall camping excursion. We stayed on The Heart of the Forest site which was spacious and a short walk to the toilet, the walkway of which was lit perfectly to see in the dark. Their farm shop is a must visit with great smelling goat soap and an array of grass fed meat for you to cook for dinner. We will visit again!

I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first time using the app and I have never thought of camping on someone’s property.
I had called because I booked at the last minute and Andrea was so nice to talk to.
Andrea welcomed my friend and I along with her two dogs once we got there and made us feel welcomed.
The camp sight was surrounded by trees and was so nice, we had a lot of space.
There is a portable washroom that is kept very clean.
I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay on Carl and Andrea’s land was wonderful - we can’t recommend it enough!
The trees on the campsite offered many options for tent and tarp setup, as well as a bit of privacy from the driveway. There is a picnic table and a fire pit. You will need to bring your own chairs for the campfire.
Washroom was very clean and just a short walk away from the campsite. Garbage and recycling bins are located by the washroom.
One of the family dogs accompanied us often and was very friendly!
We visited the farm shoppe on Saturday to try some local treats and also stocked up on some meats to bring home with us. They do carry sausages and hamburgers in the store, so consider them as an option for your meals while camping!
Andrea and Carl’s passion for what they do was very apparent during the farm tour, and it was a great way to become familiar with the property to then explore it on our own.
Overall a 10/10 for us! We absolutely loved it and will be back

The campsite was tidy and well maintained with a fire pit, some Muskoka chairs and a picnic table. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant and welcoming and I loved the company of the farm dogs.
We booked for three nights, but stayed only one because I neglected to asked clarifying questions; this was through no fault of the host. I looked at the picture for Heart of the Forest and thought it would be more secluded than it actually was. I also didn’t realize how busy the road would be so the sound of the traffic was fairly constant. These were answers I could have gotten beforehand if I had asked the questions; particularly since my husband and I were looking for a very specific type of environment.
I would recommend this site to those who are not necessarily planning to just escape and stay on their campsite for the duration of the duration of their trip, since it really is lovely. It just wasn’t the site for us.

I cannot express to you how lovely this place is! My gf and I planned to only stay the only night but we stayed an extra and tried the other site!!! Both of them are so beautiful and cozy! They have wonderfully dogs! Brooks and Ruby, who will absoultely steal your heart and your bed (they are the most gracious your guides I've ever had)
If you want a chance to stay somewhere quiet and cheap and absolutely gorgeous and fun to walk around! Please please stay here atleast 2 nights! You'll get to expierence the whole farm and the animals!
This was probably the best camping expierecne I've had in a long time and I can't wait to come back!
The owners are so welcoming and gracious with their land and animals!!
Plus we got a little picnic which was ADORABLE!!!
12/10 would stay again !

We had a wonderful night at the farm on the fridge site. Very beautiful and great to walk around with our dogs. The farm shop was great and we stocked up on some local products which we enjoyed at our beautiful site!

The Fringe was the best Hipcamp we’ve camped at yet . We were greeted by Andrea on arrival. On welcoming us she reminded us that we were welcome to roam and enjoy .
We enjoyed the privacy, tranquility and even the sounds of the animals and seeing the family “do chores” together.
Being from the farm also … we felt right and home and had a great little getaway .

Overall, the owner’s description was pretty accurate and they were responsive and nice to work with. However, we were led astray by some of the other reviews which mentioned clean bathroom facilities. We were disappointed to find that there was just a porta potty but this wasn’t the fault of the owners. It was also very buggy which made the experience less enjoyable. All par for the course but it just didn’t turn out to be the experience we were hoping.

A beautiful farm and cute camp sites. Our particular site was road-facing (would have been good to know that ahead of time, we might have booked a different site but maybe not, it was really fine and low traffic + 100yd from the road).
Everything was maintained, clean, and cute. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights. We enjoyed our site and very friendly host. We really enjoyed the friendly farm dog that came and sat with us and she loved all the attention we gave her.
I would recommend the camp to anyone who would like a nice quiet getaway.

The Fringe
The Fringe is great because it’s still totally covered with trees like you’re in the forest. You don’t have the foot traffic of people walking to the garbage or toilet. And the vehicles that drive into the farm store don’t pass this site so I would say it’s more private. There weren’t any muskoka chairs at the fire pit like the pictures show so bring your own chairs. If you’re going with kids and feel like going into “town”, ten minutes away is an amazing splash pad / pool for them to cool off (and get rid of some of the dirt). It was a lovely stay.

Andrea greeted us warmly when we arrived. Our site felt secluded and had all we needed for a comfortable stay, including a picnic table, fire pit, toilet, and garbage/recycling bins. The site is also close to stores, restaurants, and highways--although not so close that we could hear road noise.

A great place to stay! Lovely site for tents on soft grass.
Clean outhouse available which was convenient. We arrived late and were really impressed to see the beauty of the site in the morning when the sun came up. Sites are really spaced out so no close neighbours.

A nice quiet farm with lots of farm animals to see and two very friendly dogs we enjoyed having daily visits from. The eco-farm store has lots of great food. Delightfully relaxing. The family is warm and welcoming. Very recommended and as described.

The campsites were tidy and private. They included a picnic table and fire pit. The washroom/ porta potty was a newer flush style which was clean and did not have an odor. The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us to hike around the property.

A perfect secluded spot on Carl & Andrea’s land. The horse, goats, chickens and roosters were all very fun to watch and listen to. The Fringe site was beyond perfect as it sheltered us from the sun but allowed the wind to pass through. It’s surprisingly large and could easily fit up to three small tents.
The farm Shoppe hosted local product including glass bottles of milk and chocolate milk, goat milk ice cream, cheeses and eggs!

Returned for my second trip here with a small guiding group. Andrea & Carl are such great, welcoming, and accommodating hosts.
The girls all had such a good time despite some heavy rain, and made some great memories.
Farm tour was well worth it and me and the girls learned lots. Overall we had an amazing experience, we look forward to coming back again in the future.

Great space and wonderful hosts. Ruby (one of their farm dogs) came to greet us and she and my dog were great together. My pup and I set up camp and then wandered off to see the chickens and sheep!
I wasn't able to get anything from the store as I was headed across the border. I'll have to come back!
If you are tent camping, there is a very bright light on the barn to be aware of as you are setting up. When it got dark and the light came on we had to adjust the placement of our tent so that it wasn't shining in our eyes. Just something to keep in mind as you set your location and angles.
