We loved camping at Foof's forest. Although our stay was short but it was lovely. The directions were quite clear, there was a washroom and enough firewood bundles available. The trees there had light strings which came to us as a surprise when they lit it up. The space is cozy and just perfect to have your first camping experience.

What a quick and easy spot to find to enjoy A simple and private campout.
I fell asleep to the sounds of bullfrogs and woke up to a Rooster.
I appreciated the outdoor toilet and the accoutrements provided.

Amazing Experience! We had a great time tent camping at Foof's Forest. It was a great location for a stop on the way to Toronto and in close proximity to Niagara Falls and other amazing stops. The spot is private and well kept. The outhouse is extremely clean as well. There is some distant train noise if in a tent but it was not enough to disturb our sleep. As with any time camping, make sure you have some bug spray candles to help keep the mosquitoes away. Laura was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

I loved the privacy of Foofs Forest. For being in Niagara it felt like being much further into cottage country. It was exactly what I needed. And like other reviews said the outhouse was immaculate and Laura and her husband were awesome hosts.

We loved camping at Foof's Forest. The site was secluded and quiet. It was near to Welland and Niagara Falls. We appreciated the use of the very clean outhouse. Thanks Laura and family for allowing us to camp on your well-maintained property.

Great and accommodating hosts! Nice spot to set up camp.
Toilet light batterys need replacement, and running water to wash hands, even just a container with a tap would be nice.

This was our first Hipcamp experience. Welcoming hosts, very private and clean spot to camp. Outhouse was very clean as well! Can't ask for anything more, we would come back again next time we're in the area!

Nice site in the back of their home. Far enough from the house that it felt very private. Outhouse was clean and stocked with toilet paper.

This was my first trip to Canada and Laura’s little spot was the perfect place to relax and get some much needed rest after a busy day. Nicely maintained lawn and the outhouse was very well maintained as well. I will definitely stay again if it’s still available in the future!

It was an amazing stay at Laura's campground. We were a group of 3. We were received by the hosts at the entry gate and they guided us to the site. Everything was super clean and the cool part is there were fireflies at night , turning our campsite magical!

An ideal tent camping spot with the right amount of privacy. Grass was mowed prior to our arrival which was greatly appreciated. Picnic table is sturdy and clean and the privy was impeccably appointed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I had a nice time at their camp site, my favorite part was swinging in my hammock. The hosts were great to communicate with and the directions were clear. I even showed up an hour early and they accommodate me. Thanks guys!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The instructions for getting onto the property were very clear. The spot was private and well maintained. The outhouse was immaculately cleaned. Very convenient spot to stay if you’re in the area. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the frogs singing 😊

First off I want to say that I'm giving a totally honest review. Overall it was okay for camping in someone's backyard... Plenty of privacy. The outhouse bathroom was not bad.... No odor issues, but it needs more lighting inside and out....maybe some of the solar lights would do, they have some wrapped around a tree which is a nice touch. The biggest issue I had was that it was a little noisy at night. There is a pond and with that came a lot of bullfrog croaking all night (as well as a big issue with horse flies, but you're camping) there was also noise coming from neighbors and some traffic (I think they were having a party and it wasn't their fault.... They were great, but it bothered me some). Location is what location is not far from anything, but not close to anything either. Running an extension cord out there would have been nice and maybe a hose, but it is what it is.

Foofs forest was a great spot. Quiet, easy to find, only 20ish minutes from Niagra Falls area. Would recommend to other small parties traveling through.

We had a wonderful time here! The hosts were very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. They easily have the most incredible outhouse I’ve ever been Their outhouse is incredible. The perfect stay just outside of Niagara 🏕️

Foof’s forest is a delightful spot. A green and attractive area with a private space to camp. The hosts are very welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this camping spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping at Laura’s lovely property near Welland. We especially appreciated that we could bring our two dogs and also that our Roadtrek (19 feet long) could be accommodated. The site was private and grassy and the outhouse was one of the cleanest outhouses I have ever seen! Also Laura took the time to give me very clear directions as well as to welcome us to her site.

We had a nice secluded spot on Laura’s property. Clear instructions on how to access and convenient easy communication for our short stay. Would definitely recommend for easy, convenient tent camping close to Niagara Falls.

I really enjoyed my time here. Make sure to bring your hammock. The owners are very kind and were super helpful and generous. The land is beautiful and an easy drive from Niagara Falls. I would definitely come back!
