Looking for a private farm campground with 30 amp? We have a lovely organic farm, run by my Canadian husband. I myself am a Dutch journalist and oil painter. WHAT WE OFFER * Camping spots with 30 electricity and an amazing view. Isn't the ultimate camping experience to wake up in nature? :) Water refill if needed. Waste water dump nearby. We also have fire wood (10,-) if needed. * Oil painting courses per hour if you wish. * Enjoy the experience of a idyllic, cozy farm campground. LOCATION - Right in the 'Banana Belt' as they call our region (lots of sunshine) - Close to the 401 (but not too close) - Close to town (but not too close) - Close to the popular attractions like Rondeau Park (but not too close) ;) At our organic farm we like to give our campers lots of space so each camper can enjoy waking up by the sounds of the birds and a stunning sunrise.  FACILITIES We have a beautiful organic farm and a few spots for you to stay alongside (or in) our fields. You really get off grid here. We have water to fill up your tank and 30 amp electricity. There's wifi near the house. And for a small fee you can get  wood for a campfire. For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries. THINGS TO DO * Book an oil painting session for 35,- (Pay upon arrival. Excl. water mixable oil paint, but available in our store). Learn painting like the old masters! * Nearby there's plenty to do. You won't get bored: Greenview Aviaries Park and Zoo (7min), Rondeau Park (19min) for beaches and birdwatching, breweries (25min) and Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History (31min).  WHAT TO DO You can book via Hipcamp or make a donation when you arrive here. * 40,- per night (also on weekends) 30 amp electricity and 1x water refill included if needed

Our family had a wonderful stay at Farm Camp! Minke and her family couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The experience was absolutely perfect. Calm, serene, and beautiful views across the farm. What a special place!

Idyllic farm campground - site 4
Had a short stopover at Mink's place. It was so peaceful and quiet. (rain on the tent at night made for good night sleep). A very helpful and super nice host. Minke gave some great tips for local food, nature, events. I would recommend, and stay here again. Reminder, it is just the clean open space on the farm with electricity access (need a adapter for RV to standard extension) so bring what you need.

Site 1 - Farm Camp Palmyra
It was wonderful camping on Minke's land. So peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed the 2 hour art lesson and look forward to continuing creating. It was unfortunate that we stayed during some of the hottest summer weather so far. We did enjoy the public beach Minke suggested and it was just perfect for both us and for our dogs first experience by the lake. Thanks for a great first Hipcamp experience!

My husband & son have camped here a few times… now I know why they were so eager to show me why they loved this space. It was absolutely beautiful, the grounds were immaculate. The sky views were breathtaking. I was unsure about the dog that seem to automatically join us at first but he grew on me very quick. He kept to himself mostly, it seemed like he just enjoyed being near us and we didn’t mind one bit.

Site 1 - Farm Camp Palmyra
This was exactly the getaway from reality my family and I needed. The field was by far the favourite part for our kids and dogs to explore. They spent hours playing catch and chasing butterflies. Minke was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

We had a fabulous time! It was a spotless site, great electrical power, and an awesome view. The host was amazing! We also had a bonus dog keep us company. This is definitely a place for us to visit again.

Site 1 - Farm Camp Palmyra
Minke and her husband are wonderful hosts. Their farm is lovely, and the 30 amp hookup was a welcome bonus because it was quite warm in late July. This was our first stop in Ontario after crossing the border at Detroit, and I can’t think of a better first stop. We enjoyed exploring the small towns in the area, visited Rondeau Park, and ate at Rondeau Joe’s right on the water. On another day we discovered a barbecue competition and festival at Red Barn Brewery. In the evenings, we enjoyed the sunsets and peaceful of the farm. I can’t recommend Palmyra Farm enough.

Site 1 - Farm Camp Palmyra
This was our first experience with Hip Camp. The farm was located down a gravel road and our site was between the drive shed and the alfalfa field with electrical hookup. Minke greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay and we would certainly recommend to others.

Farm Camp Palmyra
What a wonderful experience, absolutely perfect. The property is so beautiful, stunning vistas from all camp sites, just beautiful, and so clean. Close to town if you need to shop, and close to lake Erie beaches. The hosts are the kindest people ever. Minke gave me a piece of home-made apple pie on arrival ( SO GOOD). The hosts were very accommodating, and very attentive, consummate professionals. Their dog Jack is such a wonderful pooch, lovely animal. Highly recommend this place. The land, the hosts...just brilliant.

Farm Camp Palmyra
Our experience at Palmyra farm camp was GREAT! It was lovely and quiet and the hosts were very friendly. The camping area was nice and flat and hydro was included! There is an option to purchase organic pork and other goodies from Minke as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing experience. Clean. Amazing hosts. Lots to do within a short drive. Lots of space to roam. Fresh organic meat (pork) as well to purchase.

Farm Camp Palmyra
After staying 3 days, I think its safe to say Ill never use a traditional campground in the near future. This stay exceeded any expectations I had. Expectationally well setup, peaceful and perfect place to unwind! Couldn't ask for a better and more accommodating host! From start to finish, very helpful and informative!!. My son is already asking when we can go back, and we sure will! Thx
