Our land is about 250 acres of mixed forest and wetland near the Canadian Shield. We have trails on the property for the exclusive use of our guests and ourselves. We offer canoes in the warmer months and snowshoes in the winter. There is a lovely pond with Muskoka chairs for you to enjoy the sounds of nature. You might come across deer, porcupines, beavers, or even river otters when visiting.

Welcome to the Hideaway! A great home base to explore the Land'O'Lakes. Situated on 250 acres of mixed forest and wetlands, our trails and bunkies are an excellent way to get outside in style! The Hideaway features a comfortable queen bed and a futon and will comfortably sleep up to 4 people. A place to set up your camp with the comforts of an indoor space, prepare your meals on the porch using our propane powered stove/oven combo (propane provided, of course). Enjoy a lovely hot shower outdoors with a private warm water outdoor shower. If showers outdoors are not your thing, we have a communal washroom building just steps away from your site.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Just a 5 minute walk to beautiful Bull Lake for a swim or a canoe ride, this property offers access to over 200 acres of trails, a spring fed pond and natural features. The setting of "The Overlook" is private with running cold water and a stovetop oven combo. There is a hot water rustic outdoor shower, and a pit outhouse. A short walk away you will also find a washroom building with indoor hot shower that is also shared with cabins.

You can explore our trails on the property and kick back in front on a bonfire, and then retire to your comfy bed! It could also be a great home base if you want to spend some time exploring Bon Echo, or other parks.

Welcome to the Coachman! This tiny home was lovingly converted from an old trailer. This is the perfect space for any nature lover who wants to experience nature with the all the comforts of home. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows in the main room give you a cinematic view of the lush outdoor space. A giant picnic table next to your firepit is perfect for getting your smores kit laid out or getting your hotdogs ready to roast. If cooking on a fire is not your thing, you will find RV appliances inside, including a propane stove with an oven and even a small fridge/freezer.

A great place to escape to! Very quiet, serene. Accommodation was great, very clean, and amenities were nice as well. Would recommend!

We stayed at the Nomad and loved it. Great private site with everything needed to make camping and cooking easy. Beautiful cedar and shag bark hickory trees all around with adorable red squirrel neighbours. Would recommend and return. 🥰

Beautiful, private spot
The Hideaway Private woodland cabin
I stayed at the hideaway cabin and it was an absolutely beautiful spot. The cabin was nice with everything you’ll need for your stay but it was the surrounding area that really made my stay magical. The nature was unreal with a little stream flowing by the cabin, lots of trails to hike and a huge area to explore. It was perfect to set up my hammock and read the day away. The water access was a short walk away as well. Will definitely be back!

we loved our experience on Lauren’s land, great cabin lots of activities to do! canoes, sauna, great hiking trails, campfire on site and great views of the stars :] everything at our disposal for great experience Lauren’s was very responsive and a great host, on our last night in the naturalist we were cold and she came to our rescue and set up the heater for us ! she took good care of my husband and i during our stay 🫶 10/10

The bunkie was everything we could have wanted and more. The burners helped elevate our camping cooking, the site was fantastic and we loved the heated outdoor shower.

Camping without roughing it
"The Nomad" Private bunkie #1
Great spot for a camping experience with minimal comfort and if you don’t want to feel you are in an “influencer” post but actually out camping in nature. The cabin is great to sleep with nice windows for aeration. Walked the two trails on the farm which was actually more interesting than the trail at Bon Echo Appreciated the cooking grill, I cooked everything straight on the fire. The BBQ is a nice touch in case you don’t have the patience to cook on a fire. The exterior shower was a great hit. Note: plan to bring wood ahead with, I found that all the local fire wood sellers in the area sold odds and ends as opposed to properly split logs.

Very nice little bunkie . The outdoor space was great . Quite large and far enough from the next bunkie to not even know others are around . Lots of room for my dog to run around (on a leash of course) . Outdoor shower was a very nice touch !

The Coachman Tiny Home in the woods
It was fantastic! Laurene and John are great host. The cabin was cute and clean. It is very cozy with everything we needed. The property is beautiful and very quiet. It was a perfect little vacation for my family. We loved it!
