Great campsite with lots of space (B). Little bit of a walk to the shower but not too bad of a trade off for the privacy of the site. The owner and his family are super nice and he makes some really nice beer in the brewery.

This is an amazing experience. Everyone at the brewery is lovely our site was nice and quiet. We will definitely be back. The beer delicious and well priced, the views are nice. The host is fantastic! He is great, welcoming and nice to chat with.

Great spot with beautiful scenery in a quaint little area of Ottawa. Hosts Andre and his parents were welcoming lovely to chat with at the brewery.
Highly recommend as a weekend getaway spot.

Site C was perfect for our RV. The beer was excellent, Andre was super friendly as were the customers that were there.
I would go back and would also recommend it to others.

Lovely spot, rustic and secluded while still having access to the brewery and amenities. There is a fire pit with a table and some seats along the edge of the valley to sit with the view. The tent spots have soft wood chips on them to protect your gear. This is the third time I have camped at Cartwright but first time not with a group. The hill spot is perfect if you want to be secluded and has a lovely view. It is a bit of a hike up the hill but well worth it.

I didn’t think I’d see anyone at the campsite as the brewery is closed on Monday. Andre came by and we had a good conversation over a delicious beer. Thanks for your hospitality.

A great campsite; spacious, private, in amongst the trees, and with shower and washroom facilities nearby. There are numerous picnic tables and chairs and an area to socialize with other campers. Andre and his staff are welcoming and friendly and their beer is delicious! Two thumbs up!!

We were a group of bicycle riders camping at pond site A. Beautiful site with fireplace facing the pond. Andre is a wonderful host. We did a quick brewery tour with Andre and enjoyed beer flight with pizza. Leo lager is a must try. Thank you Andre for being a wonderful host.

What a fantastic little spot to camp and the bonus is, there’s beer! I would highly recommend camping at Cartwright Springs. Our site had ample space and privacy and just a short walk to the bathroom and shower. We would not hesitate to book again. Thanks Andre!

Easy access to sites, lots of spots for tents and hammocks with awesome trails. Try the Spruce Tip IPA at the brewery before you head to your site. Bring a volleyball for the volleyball court!

Site D was a short drive from the brewery and the tent sites were nice and remote, surrounded by forest. Parking was right next to the fire pit so it was nice that we didn’t need to carry food too far back and forth, downside is there’s a short walk from fire pit to tent depending on which tent site you pick. Unfortunately the people who stayed at this site before us left bits of garbage around, but we were able to clean that all up when we were packing up.
Lovely fireflies at night, and a peaceful morning with birds chirping! The folks at the brewery were lovely and the beer is fantastic!!! We got a dozen cans to go, and would love to come back and check out another site.

Wow we’re only one day instead of two, because our friends got sick and kids were bored.
Pros: a lot of trees, woods for fire, table, not so sunny and hot, big fire pit, stumps for sitting, few spots for tents
Cons: fire pit full of charcoal, road is too close, so everyone can see what you are doing, site for rv was too close and generator didn’t let us sleep. You can see two wooden toilets, but one of them is storage and another is “only for winter”, so if you have kids - think twice, because you need to go to the brewery.
There is pretty river and trail in the woods, but mosquitoes are crazy (like everywhere in Ontario, I think).
Maybe with friends it would be better time spending.

Site B: Hill
Site B was pleasant and breezy. Site was clean with two tent sites set a good distance apart. Facilities around the campground were good and mostly self-serve which is okay. Some effort goes into setup at the walk-in site B but worth the effort. The woods could be cleared some more around the lookout. Excellent site for privacy and peace of mind.
