Site 1 - Apple of My Eye
Stayed Thanksgiving Weekend
I loved pop up tent camping on site 1 on Melissa’s land. It was absolutely adorable and great size camp ground although close to the street it wasn’t loud or anything. The Loo was very clean and actually smelt good (candles). Did feeding the animals with my kids and they adored it! The water was drinkable and great for washing my own dishes. The garbage was close to the site. There is horseshoes to play, a lovely trail walk and the farm animals really do come right up to the camp! They have wood to sell for a campfire amongst other things. Allow for multiple method payments also. Very easy to find by GPS :) I will stay again.
P.s. in the area there is a lovely ranch you can horseback on and also Eagle Nest trail walk 💕

The farm animals are the best part. I enjoy the stargazing area and love the little storefront “hotbox” area at the front of the property

Site 2 - Spruced Up!
Fab basecamp for motorcycling tour!
These folks are very accommodating and kindly assisted us with our clumsy maneuvering of our new trailer, and did everything possible to help us fit into the site, even though I was a doh-doh and missed the very clear warning note that only small tent-trailers would fit. I stupidly figured mine was only a couple feet longer, but of course I didn't consider that we had to drive through a low tree canopy. My bad! I felt terrible when we showed up and realized our hybrid trailer was too high! I thought we would have to cancel our whole trip. But they smiled, took us in stride, and helped get us in - even cutting down a few dead tree branches to get us through! We were so happy to be able to get in, and we'll definitely be back - next time with our motorcycles and tents for a epic adventure ride. The roads around there are beautiful for motorcycling! Very pretty, with epic views and twists and turns, and excellent condition. And Burke's Barnyard is epic too, with spacious private campsites, funky chickens and more! Can't wait to return (without our big-ass trailer lol)

Site 5 - Double Duty!
Camping on a farm.
We loved camping there .my children and grandchildren especially loved feeding the chickens, roosters, pigs and turkeys. Camp site was a great size for eight of us, six adults two children. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for family camp...
