We are an ecological homestead in West Nipissing producing seeds, plants, medicinal herbs, produce and pastured meat. As well as we offer a variety of courses and mentorships surrounding topics like self sufficiency, homesteading, herbalism and land based skills.
Our homestead is located on a quiet maintained country road that backs onto Lake Muskosung, just a short canoe trip from the cabin side to the lake.
Less than 5 mins up the road is the best swimming & beach around at Clear Lake and Lac Tonnerre farther down the road. 25 mins to Lake Nipissing.
There is a chipstand in Field and a boat launch into the Sturgeon River. Sturgeon Falls is the closest town 25 mins away with all your amenities.
Wake to the sound of the rooster in the morning or go a little farther into the bush for more solitude. Our property is split into three sections on both parts of the road giving you lots of options to camp. Outhouse and outdoor kitchen on property.
There is a farm stand on the property, stocked on weekends and a community seed library on the property. A free book library farther up the road.
Tons of wildlife on the property like deer, grouse, bear, lynx, mink, marten, moose, beaver, otter, bittern and more!
We ask that campers are quiet and respectful to the environment and our farm. No large groups or parties. No loud music. Fires only in designated fire pits providing there is no fire ban.This site is located on the house side of the property with access to the lake and farm. There is a communal outdoor kitchen, cooking area and outhouse.
