We offer over 250 acres of rolling hills, adventure activities and 2 unique types of accommodations; Safari Tents and Cozy Cabins. Built by Canadian adventurers, for adventurers of all types. Secluded yet cozy, this off-grid retreat invites guests to disconnect and immerse themselves in the serene surroundings. We provide a comfortable haven without compromising the environment. Large windows bring natural light, framing picturesque views of the outdoors. Inside, a thoughtfully arranged interior maximizes space efficiency, creating an intimate setting for relaxation. Inside, you'll discover: - Rustic chic decor, warm blankets and soft carpets - An extra plush queen size bed with duvet covers and comfy sheets - Board games, card games, adult drawing books and colouring pencils - Local coffee's - Custom tea blends by World of Tea in Halifax - Solar lanterns and elegant string lighting - Smoke and Co2 Alarm - A propane powered fire place For all your cooking needs you'll find: - A beautiful outdoor and fully stacked kitchenette with cooking and eating utensils - Propane stove and a BBQ to cook up a delicious camping meal (propane included) - Pots, pans, knives, a strainer, a washing tub/dish soap and everything you'll need! - Fire Extinguisher Outdoors, enjoy the following: - Onsite & Included Firewood - Solar & Battery Powered Indoor/Outdoor Lighting - Drinking Water Accessible On Site (it is recommended to bring a water bottle) - Two Adirondack Chairs by your firepit - Access to a Communal Porta Potty (within a close distance to your tent) - Nearby Private Lake (1 Minute Walk) and Hiking/Walking Trails - Access to Complimentary Paddleboards (Summer Only) Here is our suggested list of essentials to bring along for your getaway in the wilderness.  - All meals and beverages* (clean drinking water provided on site) - Cooler and ice for cooler items  - Personal care items and toiletries - Towels - Powerbank for charging devices - A flashlight or headlamp - Layered clothing to keep warm - Reusable water bottle  - During the winter months we recommend bringing your own sleeping bag; even with the warm bedding and heat it can get very cold during the nights - A sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors! Welcome to our Rolling Stone Eco-Cabin. Named after its granite and rock filled landscape, it is sure to wow you with its beauty. This cabin is our closest situated cabin to the lake, offering a tranquil space and a gorgeous view of Hilltop Lake. In the summer, you can see a sea of beautiful blue dragon flies around the water's edge. Inside, you'll discover: - Extra plush queen size bed with comfy duvet covers and blankets - Cozy propane fireplace & comfy love seat - Kitchen with all cooking and cooking utensils - Kitchen sink* - 36L of drinking water - Solar powered lighting - Indoor waterless toilet - Board games, card games, adult drawing books & colouring pencils - Salt, pepper, sugar, tea, hot chocolate & coffee *Currently there is NO running water; however two 18L jugs are provided. Outside, you'll find: - A large and private lot - Propane stove and a BBQ to cook up a delicious camping meal (propane included) - Fire pit, two adirondack chairs & complimentary firewood - Solar string lighting Off-Grid Basics: Our eco-cabins are completely OFF-GRID. (Don’t let this scare you). Our cabins are modernized and solar powered with electricity and heat. With off-grid cabins, energy conservation is key. Drawing too much energy may cause you to lose power, so you’ll need to be mindful of your consumption during your stay. Each cabin comes equipped with its own dry flush toilet (a.k.a a waterless toilet). The toilet works in most respects like an ordinary porcelain toilet but runs through a 16 second cycle that will close the bagging material around the waste. There is currently no running water in our cabins. We expect for each of our cabins to have running water by summer 2023; however this is not guaranteed. Please call or email us. Each cabin comes with 36L of water for you to use for drinking, cooking and washing up. All cabins are equipped with a kitchenette with all the cooking supplies and utensils required to cook up a meal. Outside you’ll find a propane stove and a BBQ (propane included). Please note there is no fridge in our cabins.

Eager Beaver is the original Porters Peak eco-cabin. It has a spectacular view of the lake and is on a spacious lot. You can find a short path on the left of the cabin that leads you to a communal dock lit with solar string lights. Inside, you'll discover: - Extra plush queen-size bed with comfy duvet covers and blankets - Cozy propane fireplace & comfy loveseat - Kitchen with all cooking and cooking utensils - Kitchen sink* - 36L of drinking water - Solar powered lighting - Indoor waterless toilet - Board games, card games, adult drawing books & coloring pencils - Salt, pepper, sugar, tea, hot chocolate & coffee *Currently there is NO running water; however two 18L jugs are provided.
