Welcome to Blue Forest Shores . com, our small, nature-based retreat center. We are an alcohol-free community with a minimum stay requirement of 2 nights. Forested, ocean-side property, with two permanent homes. You have access to swimming, 5 km hiking trails on the property, wood fired sauna (extra fees), fully equipped community kitchen, outdoor forest shower. We have an indoor, community space for reading, games, in case of bad weather, plus internet access. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children. We appreciate your interest. Wonderful place to camp! The host is very welcoming and the campground has many great amenities. The bathrooms are an outhouse style, and there are sinks with running water to wash your hands. There is a beautiful common room and sauna on the property. The outdoor shower is very warm and easy to use. Overall we had a fantastic stay (other than the bugs lol) and would recommend this to anyone looking for a campsite close to Halifax!
