Michael (Mike) was an amazing host from the moment I booked our reservation. Site is very well maintained and he has yard games and grates for cooking available. There’s an outdoor shower, bathroom, and running water. This is a perfect location for a first time camper or if you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a few days. It’s far enough from the city to enjoy the quiet of being in the woods but close enough to receive a delivery from Instacart. We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely visit again. Definitely 10 out of 10! Thank you for being awesome Mike!

Perfection!
This is our second time staying here and it was just as perfect as the first time! Mike is very communicative and welcoming, the property is well-maintained and beautiful, and not it is too far off of I-95. Each campsite is marked well, so you won't have a problem finding yours - even in the dark! I highly recommend this location.

Very clean and quiet getaway
Very relaxing and enjoyable visit. Place is super well kept, nicer than most parks. Michael is great and the fresh eggs were a nice touch. This was my first trip on Hip Camp and wasn’t sure what to expect. I highly recommend it!

This site was great! We camped here while passing through on a road trip. Unfortunately we did not see the site in the daylight due to arriving so late and taking off so early. But because of Michael’s great arrival instructions and how well the site is maintained that was no problem at all! The property was very clean and well kept! We can’t wait to visit again and stay longer!

Peace and quiet beneath the pines
Wonderful place! Michael's land is extremely well-kept and clean. If you are looking for a quiet spot out in the county this place is hard to beat! Michael is friendly and easily approachable. He welcomed me upon my arrival and made me feel right at home. I hope to stay here again.

Pine trees and fresh eggs
Peaceful, clean, spacious…Michael greeted me as I drive in and walked my car to my site. I think they have a lot of pull through sites. While the site didn’t have electric, it did have water and electric. Of course, I’m a newbie and didn’t realize the water hose would freeze. Duh. But managed to get unhooked with WD-40 as my de-icer. Breakfast was a delicious serving of fresh eggs!!
This was my second visit there. I hope to make it a regular stop on my route heading north and south on 95.

Beautifully Maintained Campground
My husband and I enjoyed staying at this beautifully maintained campground! Everything is clean. The host is friendly and helpful. There is a nice walking path through the campground we enjoyed after our morning coffee. We recommend this campground and hope to be back.

Great time, great host
Michael was very accommodating ensuring everything was in order and that we had everything we needed. He was very helpful informing us of what was available on the property as well as the surrounding area. My son-in-law and 6 year old grandson had a great time and found our site to be perfect. We definitely and without hesitation will book future trips. Thank you Michael for for affording us a enjoyable experience.

Peaceful quiet and clean
A very well-kept campground. Facilities are limited but that’s not what we were there for. Large campsites with lots of space in between. All back up to woods and even with a couple green spaces. All in all a great place to stay. Worth the trip off I 95 if you want to come off the road and find a nice placeTo relax.

Short overnight trip
It was a short overnight trip in I95. We arrived later than expected and it was after dark. We found the address with ease and Michael saw us pull up and helped direct us into the spot. At day light we left and saw the beautiful place we had been. Very well cared for and efficient for us. We would stay again and highly recommend.

Michael has a great spot. The campsites are tucked in amongst the pines to give some privacy. The campsites are neat and clean with picnic table and fire pit. There is a bathroom and dish washing station that is always clean. Outdoor shower with hot water is always a plus after a hot day. On the way to the shower check out the hummingbird feeders on the house front porch. It’s amazing how many there are and how close you can get. I have stayed here multiple times and would highly recommend this to anyone. Michael is a great host
