Stowbridges Cabin is a restored two-story fishing house set in a quiet, sheltered cove along Newfoundland’s Bay of Islands. Surrounded by rugged coastline and the North Arm Hills, it’s an ideal off-grid basecamp for hiking, exploring, or simply unplugging by the ocean. IMPORTANT & MUST READ: This property is only accessible by boat, with a ride of approximately 1 hour. Guests must arrange a boat charter at the time of booking, which comes at an additional cost. The host will coordinate and connect you with the charter service. For the smoothest crossing, it’s recommended to travel in the morning or evening, as afternoon winds can make the bay rough. Initial arrival would be at Bay of Islands Yacht Club in Corner Brook, NL. You'll be taken to the cabin from there. The cabin sleeps up to 10–12 guests and includes a full kitchen, running water, a bathroom with hot and cold water, and a wood stove for cozy evenings. Outside, enjoy a fire pit, beach access, and sweeping coastal views. Activities include the Saltbox Restaurant & Everoutdoor Adventures: https://everoutdoor.ca/outdoor-adventures/ There is currently no cell service at the cabin (limited signal available a short hike away), though Starlink internet is in the process of being installed.
