Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
I am not in Deer Lake, I'm 45 mins away from Deer Lake. I have 2 Glamping Tents on the Banks of the Upper Humber River, on the West Coast Of Newfoundland. 8 kms in a dirt road to the river. BBQ, Coleman stove, and all kitchen utensils are supplied. All you have to bring is your own food. Kayaking tours and rentals are available on site. Check out Humber Off-Grid Tours' Facebook page. The space My place is off-grid in the open country. Surrounded by wildlife and the beautiful scenery that Newfoundland's west coast has to offer Guest access There is an outdoor bathroom and out door shower. Guess can also use the river for swimming, canoeing, and Kayaking. Other things to note Some Activities to do are canoeing, Kayaking, and swimming. You can also do day tours, which consist of a day of leisurely paddling and a boil-up on a Beach (meal included). Recommended Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. An "Off Grid" Experience right on the Humber River. Located 45 minutes east of Deer Lake, just off Route 420. There are also kayaking tours on site, as well as a local farm. Your Host and Guide lives onsite as well for all your needs during your stay. Come and enjoy Humber River Off Grid Tours and Make Memories to last a lifetime.
