Beautifully tranquil experiences wondering the trails and exploring near the Shawangunk Kill - the feeling of privacy - truly a healing retreat at a Sanctuary. It was what we really needed, thank you!

Perfect Camping by a Creek
Patricia and John are hands down the best hosts - kind, accommodating and communicative. The land is so beautiful and the perfect level of secluded while still being a very convenient 90 minute drive from NYC. We were able to fall asleep to the lulling sounds of the river. (Saw a couple of cute frogs by the creek!) Firewood was already at our campsite which was only a 5 minute walk from where our car was parked. Cannot think of a single negative thing to say! We cannot wait to come back!

Barn View At Blossom Dell
Barn View is an amazing campsite!!!
We spent two nights at Barn View and we all had a blast. The 12 of us were able to set up 6 tents quite comfortably but you could set up at least 2 more for sure. Barn View is just a few minutes walk from the parking lot so we were able to go back and forth easily with our collapsible wagons. Because we were the only campers that weekend, we got to see the other sites such as Eagle's Nest and Beaver's Brook which were both 5-8 minutes away from Barn View. Patricia was very responsive to all of my questions and Wendy was super quick on delivering firewood to our campsite. They're both really nice! There were a lot of barn animals such as chickens, goats, bunny rabbits, horses, dog, cat, and even a pig! Definitely coming back next time!!

Site 1 - Eagles Nest at Blossom Dell
Eagle's nest with actual eagles!
We loved our short stay here. Swimming in the stream was refreshing and relaxing, all the birds made for an amazing backdrop, and watching the eagles was a true treat! We camped comfortably in our private spot and Patricia's communication was great. We loved meeting all the farm animals on arrival and then being surrounded by nature. Thanks for our much-needed respite from the city!

A great retreat
The campground was beautiful, the little stream next to our tent made everything tranquil. They brought us all the firewood we needed and we’re super hospitable. We even got a tour of the barn at night after a few adult beverages :)
I would say the only thing I would change was being able to pull up to the site would make me come back here every time I camped! Aside from that, I highly, highly recommend Patricas land! Also, Wendy kicked ass too. 9/10 for sure!

We fell in love at Blossom Dell!
The sanctuary was beautiful and Patty and Wendy were so nice. We were lucky enough to be on the property at the same time as an Indigenous ceremony was going on, so we got to hear a little bit of music at times.
The swimming was GREAT! And all things considered, the campsite wasn’t too buggy.

Pleasant camping spot
We parked near the barn and walked our gear to the Eagles nest camp site in about 8 minutes. We loved the trees and view of the river. It was cool to see the eagle in its nest. We had fun camping in this beautiful spot.

Stunning doesn’t do it justice!
Absolutely stunning grounds. We stayed right by the brook and the entire property was beautiful and tranquil. Patricia and John are absolute amazing and kind people and I can’t recommend their property enough! Do yourself a favor and take a few days to enjoy this spot - you won’t regret it

Perfect escape.
We loved this place! We aren’t very experienced campers and were bringing our 8 year old, so we were a little nervous to not go to an actual campground. But this place was awesome. So beautiful, well appointed, and felt safe. Great if you don’t want to feel hemmed in by RVs and other campers. Just secluded enough. Patricia was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful, clean and beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. We were a group of 8 with 4 kids. We reserved both sites near the brook and has a fantastic weekend mostly without seeing anyone else. The toilet was clean. The site was even nicer than it looks in the picture. Patricia was nice, responsive and helpful. I am sure we will be back!

Site 1 - Eagles Nest at Blossom Dell
Peaceful forest camp
We had a lovely night camping at Blossom Dell. While we originally booked a different camp site, Patricia let us know that there would be a large group and moved us to the brook site which we ended up loving! It was far enough away from everyone that it felt private and remote, and we appreciated the fire pit, grate, table, and chairs! There was a nice cleared spot for a tent, plenty of trees for two hammocks, and the brook was refreshing and fun for wading. Kids would love looking for crayfish! While the eagle wasn’t around when we were there, the farm had two baby goats that were adorable to pet. As a note, consider bringing bug spray because you are by water in the woods. I recommend this site for anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

Relaxing!
We always enjoy ourselves at Blossom Dell Sanctuary! One of our friends identified over 20 birdsongs! The river is gentle and refreshing to swim in. The land also supports the Indigenous community and i know the camp fees are going to a good cause. Patty and John are so helpful!

That day I made resavation was raining. and I thought I may can go just BBQ. Then I went there but it was passed check out time😅 still she came to the site and open the space for me!

Wolf Den at Blossom Dell
This location serves well if youre looking for a more primitive camping trip (no water or bathroom). Sites were great and my boys had a blast. If only it hadnt rained.. great memories nonetheless.
Theres a bit of a short walk to get the wolf den site but its not bad at all. The river is close by if you want to try fishing, and the hiking trails are plentiful.
