Back In Site W/E and WiFi

We stayed during mid-week so campground was extra quiet. Restrooms are brand new and sites were well spaced. Camp host was accommodating and helpful.

Campground is adjacent to a farm

The campground only has about a dozen or so spots. It was a pleasant space. It was a good place to stay 20 minutes to Ithaca. Shower could be larger (clean enough). Good price we were left alone and we left satisfied.

The spot was great, bathrooms and showers were clean. There was a problem with the water pressure in the AM but it was quickly fixed and the hosts personally let us know. Will be staying again!

Overall, fine. It is a no frills campground. Has, what appears to be a newly built bath house and a nice little playground. The host seemed to be available, if anything came up. One thing to note...I thought I was booking Site 5, all communication by Hipcamp said Site 5. When we arrived, the host informed me that we were at Site 1 and said that if booked through Hipcamp, it isn't guaranteed to get the site you think you are booking. This is our first Hipcamp booking, so im not sure if this is common, but I was slightly disappointed we didnt get the site we thought we were getting. Otherwise, would recommend campground.

Finger lakes adventure

Our stay was great because the camp site was easy to access independently and it was clean, quiet and exactly what we expected! The young owners were eager to make everyone feel comfortable and satisfied with the bathrooms and showers (which were clean and comfortable with nice hot showers ) we walked our dogs in a beautiful field with mowed paths. Close to State Park and interesting day trips in the finger lakes! We will return!

Nice, clean small camp ground that was very relaxing and quiet. Nice sized sites. Perfect place to get away from city lights and noise but near all the Finger Lakes fun and adventure.

What a peaceful little haven on a hillside! We had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend. Rebecca helped us find the best site to camp with our tent and made sure our party of three sites were well situated. The bathrooms were lovely and clean. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed camping here. The spots are spacious and had plenty of room for our 41 foot camper. Nice, quiet location. All the hookups worked well.

Peaceful and secluded spot

We only stayed one night on our way from Mass to Niagara but it was just perfect. Easy pull through parking in a large grassy field. Very easy in and out. Very very quiet area tucked away with plenty of space between campsites. Owner was super nice and had some food and drink recommendations that were spot on. Highly recommend this spot for your next getaway in the finger lakes.

Hillside Haven is a wonderful campground with no frills but everything you do need—electric and water hookups, a dump station, a fire ring, fairly level site, peace and quiet (if you don’t count the bird song 🎵) . We loved it and hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Nice and quiet

I was very impressed with the campground I met the owner and he’s got a great vision for the upcoming improvements. It’s a little rough around the edges currently but it’s under construction and to be expected. Great location just a few minutes from the town which has a few small shops and restaurants, also state parks, amazing views, waterfalls, trails and wineries. It’s very quiet and secluded my kids enjoyed the playground, we will be back soon.

Pull-Thru Site Full Hook-up

Hillside Haven is a new campground that is quiet and small and perfect spot to explore the finger lakes. The owners are really nice and are working hard on adding sewer hookups and finishing up the bathrooms. Be carefull what roads you take to get there as 96A has a bridge that is 12' 11" so if your taller that you have to take 96. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Isolated but Close to Everything!

Hillside Haven was a delightful surprise. A brand new campground - still under construction but well laid out with large spaces. It was isolated and quiet but close to numerous destinations including Watkins Glen, Robert H. Treman SP, Taughannock Falls, Seneca and Cayuga Lakes and wineries, etc. Can’t wait to see the completed campground.

One Night, and We Left

Hipcamp listing for Hillside Haven states: "And 14 RV sites, we offer WiFi , Electric with water ... " I verified the wifi before arriving which was needed for an on-line class I had to take while there. We could not connect to WiFi, and often times also could not get cell phone service. Very disappointing. We had to locate to a place with WiFi and where I could be in communication with my daughter for when and where we were supposed to be for activities with her. I'll never book there again.
