Hipcamp at The Hub: Bartonville Mtn
The RV site is just the parking lot but the pond across the street and the backdrop of the mountain were pleasant. Little road noise at night. Drew was very responsive and helpful!
We did the Jack and Jill hike right behind the Hub and had a great time. A little muddy but an excellent view of Brant Lake at the top!

Great spot for a camping getaway in the Adirondack Mountains. Drew was very friendly and informative. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay again on my next trip to NY.

Nice & Convenient Camping
Wonderful spot and a gracious host. Tent camping just a 2-minute walk from your car. The HUB is a cool homevbase in this tiny hamlet surrounding a little lake. Very convenient. The HUB has a few beers on tap along with some food. Benches to sit and eat by the lake are a nice bonus. Would certainly return.

Cute area around lakefront lot
It was great staying right in the Horicon community, with Brant Lake right out your front door and an awesome trail behind the lot!

Drew was great during the whole process. Just know that the pond is not a place where you can just bath privately since it’s in the middle of town.

This was a great spot for us to camp! The spot to set up the tent is up a short (like 50m) hike so it's a bit off the road but near where you park (which is a parking lot next to the Hub). It's close enough to be extremely convenient but also secluded enough to make it feel very private.

This site is good if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep at night and that’s about it. We stayed during the busy Labor Day weekend and felt like we were at a zoo with all the hikers coming past the site while on the trail nearby and seeing our tents there, lots of pointing and questioning us. Like mentioned in other reviews it’s just a parking lot near a trailhead, not private at all. The Hub café and bike shop was very nice though and we ate a good lunch with ice cream there. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to stay more than one night.

For tent campers its a little walk up a hill to a secluded spot. Super level and easy to set up our site. The host was super welcoming and pumped to have us.

I stayed for 3 nights in my truck camper. Drew was a very accommodating host. Had a great time.

It's a business parking lot.
Drew was nice, and we appreciated the last minute booking acceptance. We stayed, and had3 a nice time. The one thing anyone considering this location should know is, it's not a private area. It's literally a parking lot of a business on a busy street, near a busy and quite packed PUBLIC lake. The area is a vacation area, and there were tons of tourists. The photos and description really made it seem like this was private land and that we'd be camping right next to a nice lake that we could fish and kayak in. When we arrived, the traffic and all the people were a huge surprise, as well as the fact that the parking lot was across the street from the lake.
So I don't have any criticisms, it was inexpensive, and we used the parking lot to sleep in our van. That's about it. If you're expecting anything more, you will be disappointed.

Backcountry camping steps from town
Drew was great and very responsive! We were getting in late and he made sure we got settled without issue and had a place to rest for the night even though it was a last minute request. While the site was right next to the trail head near the parking lot and a restaurant with bathroom facilities, it felt as if we were deep in the woods. It didn’t bother us a bit but the little bit of road now was the only thing that reminded us we weren’t camping in back country. We loved the location and overall experience. Thank you from the team at Flower Den Retreats

Great little hamlet on a lake. CAmp site was just 50 yards up the hill behind the parking lot. Very quiet. Nice to have the restaurant/bike shops on site. Super convenient stay before doing some high peaks.

Great campsite w/nearby amenities
Drew was friendly and welcoming. The site had plenty of space to set up tents. It was private, close to hiking and mountain biking trails and near a lake with swimming and picnic tables. Being located at the Hub, we were able to easily get sandwiches, ice cream and drinks when we arrived at our campsite in the evening. I definitely plan on returning!

We really enjoyed our quick night at Bartonville Mountain. The Hub is great and Drew was very personable.
The only downside to the stay was that we were under the impression that the site would be a little tucked away, but because we were camping out of our camper van and not tent camping, we didn't realize that the RV site was just the parking lot.
That being said, the area is incredibly quiet so it wasn't a problem and it's right next to Brant Lake, so it was still a beautiful stay.
