There were positives and negatives to this site.
If you are looking for peace and privacy then don't book. However, it is great for groups and families (as long as you are well set up for toilet facilities.
Negatives: We were next to quite a busy road with a loud, rickety bridge and there was a group of 2 families with kids and dogs right next to us (even though I had specifically asked about privacy and noise). There was NOWHERE private to wee as a female due to the position of the road and other campers
Positives: The space itself was beautiful, big open space if you have kids/large group. Lots of shade from trees by the creek and the water hole was great to laze around in.
The location is beautiful and close to plenty of different things (Have a steak at the Alstonville pub!!)

Nice little stop over.
This was a great little spot. We were the only ones there, and the creek was awesome to a quick cool off in the heat of the day. Pretty secluded, and really nice! Access in is pretty easy too. We pulled our 19.5fter in there without issue.
Just take care entering or exiting from the road! The locals seem to come over the hill at speed.
There is some slight road noise, but all in all, a great little place to stop for the night!

This place was absolutely beautiful!
It was quiet & relaxing our kids loved swimming in the creek and enjoyed the camp fire.
It will be a place we'd love to come back too.

Second time round, just as perfect
Really loved our stay at Bec’s Macadamia farm. Our family’s second stay in the past 10 days. This time, we were on a different site - but just as private and tranquil as our first stay. Best star gazing in a clear night also. Highly recommend getting the firewood bundle included.

Beautiful grass camping with views of the creek. So much space to set up and enjoy. The cheese platter on arrival was delicious and we loved taking our dogs and swimming in the creek. Very peaceful and gorgeous little towns to see around the area. Coffee and public toilets are not far down the road at the Eltham Pub which is about a 10 minute drive. Public dump point at Alstonville was only 10 minutes too. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you to Bec for being a great host.

Creek Edge Camping January 2023
The Creek Edge was a lovely little spot for a three night stay. Our hosts were super friendly and very helpful with all communications.
Our spot (closest the main road) had a beautiful outlook right on the creek bend with plenty of beautiful shady trees, flowing water and pre-prepared fire pit. Not a single mozzie or sand fly bite the whole time which was a surprise given how close to the creek we were.
The other site was about 80m away and also looked very nice. We could barely notice or hear their camp from where we were.
Creek is nice for a quick dip to cool off and lots of fish and eels but be mindful of debris (as you should in any inland waterway). I pulled out a few nasty bits of metal, obviously from the last big floods so pays to check before setting the kids loose.
Great location just a short drive from the iconic Eltham Pub and lovely little town of Belanglo it was the perfect base camp for some local exploring. Even Byron was only about 30-40mins away!
Only real negative for us was the road noise. With our site less than 100m from busy Eltham road and its rickety old wooden bridge we couldn't escape the sound of cars throughout the day hitting the bridge and accelerating up the hill. We did numb to it by the second day and it eased off a lot at night but it did detract from the peacefulness of the site. If we stay again we'll be sure to book early and ensure we secure the furthest site from the road.
Overall a lovely little camp for a hinterland getaway

Hidden Gem 💎
Loved staying at The Creek Edge (Eltham Macadamia Farm)! Bec and Nick are the best hosts and our stay was just perfect.
Nick delivered us a Ute load of kindling, and firewood of different sizes, enough for a small bonfire all night by the tranquil creek running in front us. Picture perfect. We did miss the turn off into the property (could be better sign posted) but then again hidden gems aren’t always easy to find! The kids also loved foraging around the Macadamia trees for nuts that the harvesters missed from last season. Definitely all part of the fun and experience. Will be back for sure!

Peaceful, green camping area
Beautiful mowed, mostly flat area (only coming it it’s a little undulating).
Lovely flat camping area with an area for a fire. Right on a little creek and a quiet property.

This was my favourite hipcamp so far (and we have tried a few). Beautiful shady spot, open area and going to sleep with the sound of the running creek was just amazing. We will be back for sure!

Must Stay
Camping at the creeks edge was even better than we ever anticipated. The surroundings are so beautiful and we felt at peace the whole time. Listening to the sound of the creek flow down the stream, the birds chirping, the fire crackling, it couldn’t have gotten any better. To top it off we ordered the lasagna to get brought to our campsite and it was absolutely delicious ….! Thank you to Rebecca and her family for allowing us to camp on such beautiful land.

Loved it!
Great spot on flat area with beautiful bird life and our own pet eel tailed catfish that hung out.
Creek was awesome to swim in with plenty of flow.
Nick and Bec were great delivering our fire wood (great wood) and cheese platter.
Only downside was road noise from wooden bridge but luckwnot much traffic as night rolled on.
We had our two dogs and they loved every minute with plenty of space and water to swim in.
Will definitely be back!

Beautiful location by the creek and very private from the rest of the property. With only 2 sites it is very spacious and you wouldn’t know if the other site was taken due to the distance between them. The dog loved the fresh water creek which is spring fed! Some shade provided by trees around the creek bed

Peaceful paradise.
What a spot. Honestly no words to describe this slice of paradise which feels like it’s straight out of a storybook. The running creek is beautiful. Location is so handy - plenty of great towns to explore around the region. Communication was perfect. It was wet when we stayed but the ground held up so well and it was so peaceful in the rain. Cannot wait to stay again.

A beautiful part of northern NSW
The Creek Edge has gone down as one of our favourites - a picturesque grassy spot by a fast-running stony babbling creek lined with huge leaf trees. What more could you want? Plenty of adventures for the kids and the relaxing sounds of the creek and bird life. Rebecca and her hubby were friendly and easygoing. We will be back for sure.

The Creek Edge is the perfect location for self-contained campers. Bec and Nick are awesome hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay was super relaxed and comfortable. The huge grassy area was immaculate and a splash in the massive swimming hole is a must. Communication and directions were excellent. We are already planning a return visit.
