Perfect weekend getaway
Peaceful, pristine bush river camping.
Maryanne was a friendly and helpful host who we never saw but was available if needed.
Perfectly positioned viewing deck over the river to watch the playful platypus at dawn n dusk. Only 3 flattish camp spots well spaced, 2 with direct river access and the deck one with river views.
Good river for rafting, swimming and sitting in to cool off. Water shoes and LILO’s recommended. Plenty of firewood available and drop toilet is really good, easily walkable from all 3 sites.
Approx 1hr west from Coffs Harbour, good road access but must have 4WD to get to camp sites.

Beautiful river property!
Loved the camp, could hear the river running all night and it was so refreshing going for a dip in the morning! Had a fire in the pit and the campsite was clean and mowed down. Also were able to camp with our dog which was a plus!
Maryanne was so accomodating. Instructions to the property were easy to follow and the road in and out were gorgeous.

Fantastic spot, very secluded and private. The camp sites are well seperated and the pit toilet was very pleasant, just be wary of the trampoline planks! We were lucky to be able to spot 3 platypus in the river and will be looking forward to returning for another few nights camp soon

Gorgeous river camp site
What a great bush camp-site! The site is quite sloping but there are a few flatter spots to set up. We had a group of 4 camper trailers / off-road caravan and we managed to fit on one of them. It was wonderful sitting around the camp fire every night, it's so quiet. We went for a trek along the river one day and what a river it is! Absolutely gorgeous and just down the hill from the camp site. We also took a day trip to Dorrigo National Park which was a 45 minute drive away. Would recommend!

Amazing Bush camping
The site was gorgeous… could not have asked for a better camp site. Being so close to the beautiful river was extra special as the platypus would put on a show every morning and evening… fantastic to watch. The platform we use was excellent… stable, flat and ideal for a swag or tent. Maryanne was very welcoming and ensured our stay was one not to forget!!! We will be back..!

Lovely spot but needs some TLC
Beautiful property and great location. Had the place to ourselves which was good. Plenty of firewood around and the river was lovely.
Property could definitely use some TLC as a lot of it was overgrown and we couldn’t really see many suitable spots apart from where we set up.
Please note that the price is $20 per person which seemed a little steep. I think $20 per car would be a lot more reasonable.

Was a great location, but didn’t have enough flat open ground near the river when there were multiple different campers around. Overall was a very nice place and private area would camp there again. Was great that there was heaps of fire wood around and great green scenery

Heaven on Earth
Perfect weekend getaway to re-charge the batteries. Sat on the deck watch the river run, platypus, birds and black cockatoos come home to roost each night. Its peaceful……hosts are perfect and very helpful. WE WILL BE BACK

Off Grid but not off the map!
A bit expensive really - but a very remote off grid experience which we enjoyed! Recommended and also recommended that you check weather forecast as it can rain a lot in the hills.

Platypus and turtle creek
We loved camping at Marianne's property. Had a pleasure staying next to a platform situated just above the creek,we we have spotted turtles and platypus. The area is well looked after.

Close to waterfalls!!!

Secluded Stunning Sanctuary.

We had such a great time, walked up and down the river and seen some platypus.
Super secluded and private, amples of timber for the fire. Maryanne was very quick to respond.
