Convenient location
Good location in Roswell . Close to Downtown, Bitter Lake Refuge and Bottomless Lake State Park. Site next to his house, has what’s needed, electric hookup, water hose, room enough to turn around. Quiet. Friendly dog present. He was good.

Good for Dogs
Our dog loved playing with the host’s dog in a fence yard. We parked in the big driveway of the property, which was on the edge of town. There were few neighbors and a view across the flats of the valley The host greeted us, gave us the details and left us alone, which suited us fine.

Dog friendly stop
Super friendly host and such a fun n dog! Our pets felt at home on this land. The area s fully fenced so medium to large dogs can roam freely day or night.

Great Host, Electric Hook-ups!
Roger and his property were as advertised! Great spot to park our RV for the night and Roger was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was kind enough to greet us at 9:50pm after a long trip from Grand Canyon.
Roger’s place is set up well with plenty of room for RVs of any size. His electrical hookup was very helpful for us.
We would definitely stay with Roger again.

Best Dog Ever!
Roger has the best dog, he's so sweet and playful. He's also incredibly helpful if you have a trailer issue. The weather wasn't always ideal but Roger is a great host. Highly recommend.

This was such a great spot to camp. It was close to everything in Roswell. Easy to find and level. Roger was such a delicate to talk to. He recommended places to visit. And made sure I had everything I needed and hooked up before I left.

Roger was very nice and considerate. The space is actually right beside his house, behind a locked gate. Fairly flat and easy to get in and out of. His dog Max was very sweet and friendly.

Very accommodating host. We needed a large and heavy package shipped as we are traveling full time. Sent a message to Roger to ask if we could have the packaged delivered to his house (our next scheduled stop). He graciously agreed. Life saver for us.

Fenced in on ONE ACRE
Quick and easy pull in. If you want privacy, you can pull near the containers. If not, you can pull next to the house. It’s wonderful that the yard was fenced in for our pups. They enjoyed playing with Max the dog. Beautiful sunsets and not far from a Walmart and everything you could ever need! Roger is great with communication as well! Highly recommend!

30 amp + Water + Level for 1 night
We only stayed one night and this spot worked well for us. We have a 35 foot tow behind that we were able to turnaround easily in the driveway to park facing the exit. He called us before we arrived and met us outside when we did. 30 amp and water were nice for our one night stay.

Roger was very accommodating. We made the reservation the day of and arrived after dark. He greeted us as soon as we pulled in. Roger gave us lots of sightseeing suggestions, and he made sure we got to meet his sweet dog, which we loved.

Kind and welcoming.
Roger was so kind and welcoming, even his dog Max was a great host! I was just passing through for the night & Roger’s place was the perfect place to stay. My dogs even had a wonderful time playing with his dog the entire time we were there. Roger even offered to pick me up some food after my long day on the road. I would definitely stay here again if I found myself passing through on a trip.

Awesome stay
Rogers place is nice, comfortable and quite. My family and I felt safe due to Mr Roger’s place is gated. Not only did I meet a great host, but also met a good friend. Thank you Mr Roger for everything you did for me and my family.

Very friendly host ! And the place was very secured and his dog Max is super nice! We had a hard time finding any available RV parks in Rosswell, came to found out that the UFO festival was going on that weeked so everyone was booked, came across hipcamp by chance and messeged him, He was able to accommodate us last minute! Very thankful for that !

Great view of the stars!
Roger was very friendly and we had great conversation. He also has a sweet dog, Max, that kept us company. There was little light pollution so the view of the stars was incredible. I even saw a shooting star! It was convenient to get back on the road and continue our travels.

We'll be back!
Roger & Max (his Border Collie) were great! We appreciated that since the entire property is fenced in, we could let our dog play with Max without worry. It's easy to find, there was plenty of space to turn our 24' travel trailer around, and it was very quiet. We only wished for a bit of shade.

Friendly place to spend the nigjt
We were able to reserve this spot on the day of our arrival. Something you can’t do in a state park or a national forest anymore. So if you need a place to spend the night in Roswell I can highly recommend Rogers alien landing zone. I was a bit disappointed however that no aliens landed there during our stay. :)

Good find for dog people
Roger is a pretty down to earth guy and very helpful. His dog Max is amazing as most border Collie‘s are. The spaces is great, especially for large dogs because it is enclosed. I felt safe and welcomed.

The stay was wonderful! Water and electric was great. Roger was kind and helpful. Offered me dinner and Gave me ideas for other BLM and free camping for my route. I arrived when it was dark and he offered to come find me and show me the way. But it was easy to find and get to. Hearing neighborhood dogs is a good sign in my book.
