Lose yourself in the middle of a fairytale 6.5 acre old growth forest with the most beautiful 150 + year old pine trees that keep watch over everyone, and a peaceful little creek that flows through the heart of the place. It’s the perfect place to get away from the noise of life and hang out with a couple of old hippies. We have space for 2 or 3 small vehicles only, as we keep our footprint small to preserve and protect the forest. Vanlifers, gypsies, travellers, hippies, free spirits are welcome! The Old Bow Range is our private family land where we live and homestead in a tiny cabin. We love meeting other travellers like ourselves, and hanging out around the fire in the evenings, or lounging down by the river.Travellers and free spirits are welcome here! Join us on our beautiful 6.5 acre forest home, where we live in commune with nature. Join us at our nightly communal campfire (if weather is good) where we can share stories, music and laughs under a huge white pine that welcomes us to share this beautiful forest. Travellers are welcome to park your campervan or pitch a tent on one of our 2 -3 small campsites. We also have a hose with drinking water available at the campsite area, a clean outhouse facility and a beautiful little creek just steps away, to cool down on a hot summer day. We live on site in our tiny cabin, and welcome visitors to drop in for anything you need. We have vegetable gardens, and free range ducks, a super excitable dog Guinness and a less excitable dog Oscar. We love to host travellers and only ask that you respect the land and the creatures that live here. We are about 5 kms from the small City of Miramichi with all of its amenities, but it feels like we are in the middle of nowhere.

Quiet camp
Phil and Dana are the most wonderful hosts! Loved chatting with them about travel and life, their story is so amazing. Beautiful camping spot with a gorgeous pine tree at the center, fire pit, and access to a lovely little river! Guinness and Oscar were wonderful play mates to my dog 🐾 would absolutly stay again!

This place is a vibe! From the owners, to their dog Guinness (the other camper and her dog Lou), to all the amazing things they have going on at this property! Dana and Phil’s story to get away from the hustle and bustle left me inspired! I’ll be staying there again and can’t wait to see what’s new the next time I go. the campsite is far enough away that you have your own privacy, yet close enough incase you need something from the hosts. Even if all you need is a good convo and a morning latte. The sitting area over the river is amazing for star gazing at night and the property is wonderful for exploring. We left there feeling like we left friends we’ve known forever. Can’t wait to see you guys again! Thank you for everything (especially the inspiration). Meghan

The site proposed by Dana and Phil is really pleasant: in the heart of a wooden area, a few meters away from the river (which lulled us to sleep during the night), protected by a remarkable tree (probably over a hundred years old). Even though the area is surrounded by trees you still get easy access to it by car and it is equipped with chairs and a hammock, this camp is really pleasant. And if you fancy a walk or a swim, the woods and river are at your disposal! Above and beyond its camping qualities, Phil and Dana's warm and friendly welcome (and Guinness, the family's affectionate dog) was great, their enthusiasm for sharing their experience and their willingness to listen won us over: it was a wonderful encounter, and we'll definitely be back!

What a spot!!! The site was private, right by a fast moving river. The hosts had a communal fire pit right by the site for our van. We spent a lovely evening chatting with our hosts Dana and Phil, and chatted about adventures. A great relaxing evening evening. Dana and Phil want to make sure your stay is comfortable. Highly recommend!!!
