Nestled along the banks of the Pollett River lies a private camping escape. Set on the grounds of a historic 1800s sawmill site, this one-of-a-kind location blends heritage charm with peaceful wilderness. The property is a heritage sawmill site developed in the mid 1800's in response to the booming New Brunswick logging industry. The barn that housed the workhorses that worked the mill offers a beautiful backdrop at the entrance of the property. Our camp site offers total privacy from the outside world. The site is perched along the river bank, allowing instant access to incredible trout fishing, swimming, canoeing, tubing, and ATVing. Whether you're casting a line at sunrise or floating downstream in the afternoon sun, this site offers everything you need to reconnect with nature in total tranquility. The campsite is the original stone foundation from the sawdust burner that handled all the cuttings from the sawmill. Come stay with us and explore all that southern New Brunswick has to offer!The site is is located directly on the rivers edge. Included with the site is an army style canvas tent that sleeps 2-4 people, with room to set up another tent or 2. Enjoy the outdoor kitchen and cooking area (wood or charcoal), picnic table, and firepit. A great spot to put in canoeing, tubing, or to hop on your ATV and hit the 100's of kms of trails nearby. Solar string and motion sensor lights illuminate the campsite during the evening hours. There is no service at the campsite, but there is service at the parking area/barn if you need to make a call.

Old Mill Camp

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of properties I’ve ever seen! The river water was so clear you can see all the way to the bottom,. Surrounded by a gorgeous wooded area - the views were spectacular! The army tent was so cosy and comfortable with a great skylight view of the stars. Nestled in history - it feels like you’re stepping back in time. All you need is a sleeping bag. We truly appreciated the hosts, Brad and Erica. Their knowledge of the history of the area was extremely interesting. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thank you to both of you! I wish I could give them more stars than just the five stars allowed as it truly was an experience of a lifetime. So very grateful to have visited this place. We will be back again and again! 5 plus plus plus stars!
