LARGE GROUPS - We are hosting events! Graduation parties, small weddings, family reunions, you name it. You can rent the whole campground for a day a night, a weekend, or a whole week if that suits your need. Just send us a message and we can talk about it. We can also accommodate large groups at a single campsite or you can rent several of them. Our primary guideline is that if your event will be held while other campers are here, it cannot disturb them. So, consider renting the whole campground. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please plan to arrive and set up camp between 3 and 9 PM. If you are planning to arrive after 9 PM, please send us a message letting us know. We decide on a case by case basis since we prefer not to have late arrivals. In any event we do not accept arrivals after 11 PM except in an emergency since many campers and your host may have already gone to bed. Overview: Our beautiful 10 acre farm and homestead is situated between Ann Arbor and Dexter not far from the Huron River. The 5 acre area where our campsites are located is wooded with mature oak, maple, walnut, elm, and white pine trees. We're isolated and surrounded by wild areas and natural farm land but just a 10 minute drive to restaurants, groceries, fuel, and other amenities. The Ann Arbor area is home to a huge array of world class events from the Ark music venue to National Champions Michigan home football games and a whole lot more. Downtown Ann Arbor or Dexter or Chelsea is only a 15 minute car drive. White Lotus Farms, which has a wonderful farm market on Saturdays from 9 - 2 and Wednesdays from 9 - 1, is a 10 minute walk down our dirt road. If you forget to bring something that you need, don't hesitate to ask! We've got a growing number of camping essentials for rent or sale for very reasonable prices that can make your stay even more enjoyable: from bug repellants to camp chairs, potable water in 2.5 - 5 gallon containers, and more. NEW IN 2025 we have installed a hose with potable water near the entrance to the campground for your convenience.

Enjoy walks on 5 acres of wooded forest and the peaceful sounds of songbirds, cranes, deer, turkeys, and more. All campsites include a firepit and access to the communal outhouse. Firewood must be purchased on-site to prevent unwanted insects from camping here forever : ) Firewood: $15 / generous bundle Meijer Grocery Store is located within a 10-minute drive if you need any last minute essentials. Our most secluded site, including a picnic table, is in the northwest corner of our property, is surrounded by mature trees and adjacent to our "wild" area where deer bed down and which we do not go into. It's a site which is not visible to any other campsites and perfect for those who would like more privacy during their stay and enjoy hearing the sound of peepers at night coming from the nearby wetland.

On the Wildlife Pond

Three or four wooded tent sites adjacent to our enlarged wildlife pond with a southfacing view including Old Man Willow and other mature trees. The southern exposure allows night viewing of fireflies, stars, and the moon, and you will hear a chorus of frogs. Waterfowl, deer, and other wildlife frequent the pond to drink. This is not a party place but one that will immerse you in the sounds and wonders of our natural world. Not for swimming or fishing.

We had a lovely time at this location! Pete (and his dog) quickly greeted us and showed us to our site with a brief intro of bathroom, water access, and firewood. We settled in nicely and enjoyed getting to explore the Ann Arbor area. We stopped at their farmers market on the way out for some road trip snacks!

Had a fantastic time!! Gorgeous land and very kind property owners. (= would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nice cozy little spot! Went 8 months pregnant with my 6 yr old, and would like to say the trail getting in didnt hurt either lol. Nothing too bumpy or dangerous which was nice!

This place was wonderful! Had the privilege of staying the first night as the only campers. Second night there were at least 2 other campers, but could barely tell! Very well spaced out. Compost toilet was clean. Would love to come back.

Pete was very accommodating! The site was well kept and a great place for a weekend camp! Close to Ann Arbor for a stop in the city, but also far enough away to not hear the cars! We’ll be back at this spot soon!

Nicely secluded but close to major roads and places to visit. If you love nature, it is a perfect campsite to spend your days and especially quiet evenings around the fire. Plan on going back our next time in the area.

We had a great time and Pete was very accommodating. We had a surprise birthday party and had a beautiful site with space for everyone. Appreciated the ease of firewood available to purchase and extra chairs. The perfect place to relax and have a bonfire with friends.

We loved our space and found it to be a nice quiet area. Friendly host and plenty of firewood to buy. There are mosquitos of course so bring spray. Property has goats behind a fence which we stopped to say hi to. Will definitely return

Pete was extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning. I never even met him, but he was kind and thoughtful while getting us to our campsite. The actual site itself was lovely. Very relaxing and tucked away. We were the only people there (other campsites on the land were close by) so it was incredibly quiet and relaxing. I could see how a full group might make it a little less enticing, since the campsites really aren’t that far from one another. But again, that didn’t happen and Pete was even kind enough to offer us our pick of the sites, but we stayed with Cozy Corner 2. Overall, we had a lovely, quiet experience and have no reason not to recommend it. Thank you Pete and Olga!

We loved camping at Pete and Olga's! Cozy Corner 2 offered the privacy and peace we were looking for with a perfect space for our tent and two cars. We loved everything from the provided picnic table and fire ring to the sun rise through the trees and howling coyotes at night. Thank you for a awesome experience!

Pete was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive— and his dog Geddeon (I think that’s how it’s spelled) treated me as if I had known him for years. This place is perfect for a quick getaway that’s only a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend staying here. There are several campsites to choose from depending on what you’re looking for and each has its own quirks.

The land is beautiful. Partially undeveloped but you can tell it is a work in progreas. The mosquitoes and flies are the only let down. Pete and Olga are both very friendly. White lotus farm just up the street is a treat to visit over the weekend.

We loved camping on Pete and Olga’s property! We had a wonderful experience and everything was perfect. The property was very well maintained and the natural surrounding was magical. The pond was a beautiful sight my 3 year old loved it. The area was breathtaking especially at sunset and sunrise. The hosts are wonderful kind people and were very helpful when we needed them. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be back to camp here more!

We enjoyed our stay at Pete’s place! Very spacious place to park our camper van with a nice view. There is an outhouse and a large fire pit area with firewood that can be purchased on site. Pete was very friendly, professional and met us upon our arrival with helpful information to know. We will be back!
