We loved camping at Lyanna's. Her and her husband are super cool people and we felt right at home camping on their land. They have the sweetest dog, too who would come greet us everyday. We will definitely stay again when in the area and definitely recommend a stay there. It's pretty primitive, but it's a safe spot of land to prop a tent on.

This spot was easy to get to, and there was lots of room to choose from for pitching a tent. Hosts were friendly and gave great local recommendations.

The location was great, only a few minutes to town and next to the preserve. The property is well maintained.
As a solo traveler running through on my way through it was the perfect place for an evening. Communal fire was nice too!

Lyanna is an absolutely lovely person and a gracious host, and her husband is also a lovely person. They also have the sweetest dog in the world, and she might come to visit you. Their property is set up very nicely for campers, yard is kept well, and we had no issues with setting our gear up, just as we wanted. The fire pit had everything we needed, and there are lots of very pretty trails you can walk, right off of the property! This is a great little pit stop if you’re looking to camp for one or two nights, and it’s also a great alternative to a rigid rule-imposing campground, if you’re doing things in the area. Lyanna and her husband will take very good care of you. 😊

The site was nice; an wide open plot of lush grass with tall shrubs encircling it so we weren’t right next to the road, although it was audible still. Right next to the Lefurge Preserve, which was really beautiful the morning we dropped by. Lyanna was very responsive and kind!

The hosts were lovely and the land was beautiful. We got to meet their dog and were able to have a huge bonfire with some leftover wood they had. We had a great time, would definitely recommend - just got a little confusing finding the correct house.

Tent camping at Mystic Hills was peaceful. The land was spacious and open. The fire pit was nice. There was no need to build our own. I enjoyed that convenience. Can't go wrong with having a place to make s'mores!!! The hosts were amazing. They were prompt with any questions when I asked. They were friendly and engaging in conversation. If tent camping in Michigan is your goal, Mystic Hills is definitely the place to stay. It's also convenient for access to Ann Arbor.

Clean, and neat the grounds were vibrent and well taken cared for. The trees and wooded brush keep the sight sacluded from the road and is child friendly ground, nothing like hard grass tubes or sticks, just soft ground cover and lush grass.

While in town for work, we had to find a last minute camp spot. I was on a budget, and booked without very much notice at all. Lyanna approved my request and our arrival was smooth and seamless. We were warmly welcomed at dusk and got a small tour of their homestead. We felt so safe there , we even extended our initial booking 2 more days for the rest of our time in town.
Our camp space was separate from the main home and the garden and meadow in between was so enchanting. There are gorgeous flowers all around the property, and the night sounds are peaceful. Other than kind welcomed and morning goodbyes, we had total privacy, and seclusion in this little slice of the forest. I loved it here! Thank you for a lovely place to camp, and your hospitality!

I absolutely loved it! Having a tenting experience and getting to relax and listen to the wildlife at night. I totally recommend this experience to anyone, they have two spots available. The fire pit is nice and big to have fires, it’s beautiful! The owners are the sweetest and they actually care and are so great and helpful! There dog is soooo cute(: They do have fire wood you can buy if you need it. There are trails right next to the camp site. We stayed two nights in a row!

Pros: Nice campfire area, inexpensive, frog noise from nearby wetlands
Cons: You have to park a ways away and carry your gear across a busy road, traffic noise at night, poison ivy, limited privacy

This was a wonderful camping experience. Lyanna is an excellent host, who was considerate and our communication was very smooth. The site is private and easy to access. There was quality firewood for sale on site. I would definitely return for another stay. 5 stars.

Very quiet, other than the occasional siren from the police neighbors. The nature center across the street is a huge plus. Nice place to pitch a tent.

This is very near a wetland and I couldn't leave my tent for fear of being eaten alive. I am not exaggerating. Other than that the farm was worth the price

Comfy ground for a tent! Lots of space. Beautiful spot for sunset/sunrise. I really loved the random patches of daisies around the property! So cute! Overall, a very pleasant night :)
