Looking for a sweet spot to land away from the crowds but near all the Up North fun? Check out our unique, cozy log cabin retreat on 10 acres in the North Woods. With enough amenities to make it comfortable -private hot water outdoor shower, kitchenette with basic utensils including coffee and tea pot, sitting space and wrap around front deck. Fans and heater as needed. We rent a clean, private and accessible portable toilet unit for bathroom needs. Relax, rewind and enjoy all that is nearby - hiking and biking trails, close to Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Platte and Betsie Rivers, Interlochen, Crystal Mountain, Traverse City, Empire, Frankfort and Lake Michigan. Dogs cannot be left unattended inside or outside and must be leashed for their safety. Cannabis friendly property. Open mid-May through mid-October. The cabin is part of our family homestead, there are other occupied buildings near bye; all have space and privacy.Fall special, $90 nightly November 1-30! Near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the Platte and Betsie Rivers, Crystal Lake, Interlochen and Traverse City. Miles of state land surrounds the property. Cannabis friendly rental. Taking reservations for this coming summer! Cabin is available beginning May 1, 2023.

An Authentic Northern MI Experience

Kelsey's Cabin

The stay at Kelsey's Cabin was very welcoming and pleasant. We found this quaint cabin to be the perfect base point to explore Upper West Michigan areas like Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Interlochen, and Traverse City. The cabin itself is tucked away in the Northern Michigan woods which was ideal for listening to owl's at night around the fire-pit and waking up to quiet mornings to sit on the deck and enjoy our coffees. Danielle and Joe were very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable the whole time along with our dog. The cabin is well taken care of and we enjoyed our stay very much. I'd recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from a busy campground and enjoy a more authentic cabin in the woods experience with much less disturbances.

Kelsey's Cabin

We had an absolutely amazing time at Kelsey's Cabin. The area is quiet, the outdoor shower was hot and private, and the cabin itself is clean, cozy, and comfortable with so many thoughtful details inside and out. We loved the decorations, artwork, breakfast nook, and fresh sunflowers. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch and exploring the beautiful property. Thank you so much to Danielle and Joe, and Kelsey too! Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. We'd love to come back. -Olivia and Dan

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary weekend. It was so cute and clean and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you Danielle and Joe!

This was a beautiful cozy cabin! My husband and I used it as a base while we attended a wedding near Petoskey and then explored Leland. We loved the story behind it and enjoyed our morning coffee and evening dinner in the dining nook.

Perfect Getaway

Kelsey's Cabin

Very cozy cabin surrounded with woods and wildlife. Directions were clear and easy to locate with address provided. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend and can't wait as we would love to book again!
