I loved tent camping on Sarah's land! The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another site nearby but it wasn't loud.

We had a wonderful time camping here! The grounds are very well maintained and impressively clean, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved how secluded our site felt—quiet, private, and surrounded by nature, exactly what we were hoping for in a camping trip. The only small issue we ran into was that the site number had fallen off the tree, which made it a little confusing to find at first. Once we were settled in, though, everything was perfect. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-kept camping experience. I would say the only downside to camping here is there is not a picnic table on site.

Quiet Farm Campsite

This place was so nice! Site 3 is fairly private with as it’s in the trees. Outdoor shower was cool water, but it was refreshing with the humid weather. Loved the farm animals and the farm stand with fresh eggs and other items for sale! Well water was tasty also. Very convenient location close to Sleeping bear dunes and was a very quiet place to camp.

My husband and I love this place!! Would highly recommend! The owners take great care of it and seem to always be looking for ways to upgrade. This was our third year in a row coming here. We love how close it is to the mountain biking trails at Palmer woods. And an easy quick drive to bohemian beach (2 min drive) which is never very busy.

Peaceful campsite less than half an hour from Sleeping Bear Dunes. The farm animals were right nearby, making it feel like a farm stay but still very private and quiet. There is a little farmstand at the entrance with fresh veggies, various local meats (available upon ohone call), dried lavender, firewood, and other items for sale. Very cute! Nice campsite with a very clean port-a-potty and close access to water- we didn't try the outdoor shower but it looked sweet!

This was my second time camping here and I would come back for a third. The outdoor shower was a nice addition since last year. Great location and clean site. Buy their breakfast links and brats at the farm stand.. delicious!

I loved my stay at Jackson Station! It was great that there was water and an outdoor shower as well. A perfect campground in the forest with the cutest farm animals to say hi to! Would definitely stay here again.

5/5! The camp sites are close to each other but heavily wooded so you can’t see other people and it feels private! The shower has been an awesome addition and feels great after a hot day. Also clean bathroom with a walking path that has lights. I’ve stayed here before and would stay here again!

It was nice and private and is in a good location to visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes and other destinations. The farm animals make some noise, but it’s better than being next to loud people in a cramped campground. I appreciated that they had firewood onsite for a good price. I really wish there was a picnic table; it would have made cooking much easier. I also appreciate that there was a shower, but I think calling the water “hot” is a bit of a stretch.

Jackson Station was a great location nearby Glen Arbor and the lake, as well as awesome mountain biking just down the road. The sites were quiet and perfect for a few days or more with fresh water, a solar shower and a toilet. The tent sites were private. We will be back!

A lovely camp set up! We loved site number 4 - we looked out through the trees at the cows. It was clean, lots of woodchips softened the tent site, there was a laundry line, great for Lake Michigan swimmers. The 'extras' we ordered -- eggs and sausage were delicious.

We had a great stay at the campsite! Outdoor shower, potable water fountain, and portapotty are a big plus. Also, we purchased some eggs from the farmstand which were delicious. It was cool to have the farm animals nearby, although you should be prepared for some farm animal related noise. Also, no picnic tables. But overall, we had a great experience and would recommend!

I stayed on site #3, which was a good size and mostly private with trees and shrubbery all around, although I could occasionally hear conversations from neighboring sites. Sooo much better than a state park campground where you’re crammed in like sardines and feel like you’re in a fishbowl!!! I appreciated the easy access to water and the clean portable toilet. It was a good, central location for visiting the Traverse City and Torch Lake area and the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Note that this Hipcamp is on a working farm with roosters. Not an issue if you’re OK with or are used to roosters crowing all day, from early dawn to late dusk. From reading reviews from others, I must be in a minority cuz I wasn’t a fan and was not aware to expect that until I received their message a couple of days prior to arrival which included details about the camp.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed camping on Raquel and Kevin’s land. The sites were private and quiet. We also bought farm fresh eggs and polish sausage from them. Both were delicious. They had a porta-potty which was pretty clean as well as an outdoor shower enclosed by a privacy fence. They were prompt when it came to communication and were great hosts.

What a dream campsite! Firewood and things for sale at their farmstand. Quiet and peaceful campsite, was all alone except for the farm animals, exactly what my soul needed. The beach being right now the road was amazing. Perfect site for my cherry picking adventure. Thanks for the stay/highly recommend to anyone visiting sleeping bear dunes or surrounding areas.

My partner and I had the most delightful time camping here! The ambience and sounds of the farms set the perfect tone to start and end the day! Site 4 felt off the path of the other three sites without feeling isolated, but was private enough to feel like we were alone on our trip! The convenience on the fire pit in location to the rentable spots was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend planning ahead for charging phones as even the local establishments (which were beautiful and easily drivable) weren’t the most helpful in terms of charging! Kevin and Raquel were responsive and also checked on us the following morning after a storm. The campsite was plenty of room and could fit another tent if we wanted to. The trails were also very maintained, very pleasant walk. Firewood they provided for purchase helped us save time from searching elsewhere. Would definitely return and recommend the Jackson station campground

Overall we enjoyed our stay, we had a few notes and suggestions about our stay, specifically about some of the facilities offered to us as guests. The surface and space for the tent and campfire were fine, though a picnic table would have been a huge improvement to staying there, as it was difficult to prepare meals without it. The toilet is a porta potty that was uncomfortably in need of a change (and had no TP) for 3/4 nights of our stay. The shower gave us mixed results in terms of temperature control or getting the water to work at all, a directions sheet would have been very helpful. The paths at the site were softly illuminated at night, and the clear night sky was beautiful. I appreciated the conveniently provided laundry lines, and felt like I was within convenient distance of many Sleeping Bear Activities. I thought it was still a pleasant stay, but wished for a little bit more. Thank you to the hosts for our stay!

This was the cutest campsite ! Definitely will stay here again- the animals were so sweet and campsites/bathtoom/shower were very clean and well maintained. Great for people who appreciate rustic camping!

Camp was great! Minutes from the shore and a shore drive into Glen Arbor. Location really couldn’t be better. Camp was clean, the shower was great, especially after a hot day. Will definitely be back for my frequent trips to the Sleeping Bear area!

It was one of the more primitive sites we have ever camped at and loved it! The site was spacious, the animals were very entertaining and perfect for the kids, and it was super convenient that they offered eggs and different meat to purchase!

Great spot for a weekend of tent camping. The site was very private and the location was accessible to both Sleeping Bear and Traverse City. The farm animals (cows, chickens, and goats) provided fun scenery.

Great Spot at Jackson’s Farm. We had the place to ourselves & couldn’t have been more happy with the Spot. Clean Porto Potty. The Fire Pit with Cooking Grate made Cooking a Breeze. Will for sure recommend & looking forward to coming back ourselves.
