Fantastic spot for a day but you’ll wish you stayed longer. Aimee and Chuck are fantastic host and have a beautiful place. The grounds are great for camping for staying in one of the indoor locations. The bathroom and the shower was amazing. And if you’re real lucky, Amy was an amazing Massage Therapist might have the availability. They also make all these awesome Jams and herbal teas in House. I can’t wait to try my jam! Overall can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be back.

This farmstead was beyond expectations. I highly recommend the stay. Beautiful spaces that are peaceful and relaxing. I definitely will be back.

Our stay at Hammerhead Ranch was everything I hoped it would be! Anna and Chuck are incredibly kind and accommodating and their property was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. They have a lovely zen garden and marsh that attracts all kinds of wildlife. We were also lucky enough to have Anna show us around her honeyberry farm.
The bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked. I appreciated that they left goodies for the guests every day. Many activities were available, including pickleball, chess, swings, and a hammock. It was fun to socialize a little with the other guests and the hosts when they were around.
We stayed in the storage container, which had a comfy bed, futon, and little table. It was exceptionally hot while we were there (high 80s to low 90s), so I was grateful that a fan was provided. If you decide to stay here in the summer, just be aware that the container is like an oven during the day, so don't count on spending much time indoors if the sun is up! It cools down well enough at night and there are lots of shady areas to relax outside, so it's not unbearable. And nothing beats waking up to the sound of birds singing and searching for bugs right outside your door.
I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to unplug, unwind, and be in the moment.

Tent site number one is adjacent to the Zen Garden; it was so beautiful and peaceful. We even spotted a sand crane family one morning. The bathroom is very nice and clean.The only drawback is that there’s only one restroom. If there’s multiple people it gets congested. The location was ideal for day trips around northern Michigan. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Anna and Chuck for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Great place! We just used it for sleeping because we attended a class during the day. Easy to get to. Beautiful setting. Best camping bathroom I have ever seen. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful location. Chuck and Anna were such wonderful host. The site is set up very nice with a wonderful fire pit, firewood and two very comfortable chairs for relaxing. Right next to the Zen garden. The very clean facility and bathroom make it, a notch above most other locations for sure. The best of both worlds. Communication along with local recommendations were top-notch. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back for a visit.

I really enjoyed staying at this site. We came to fish the near by lake and rivers. They provided everything they said they would. The host were very friendly and had great suggestions on where we could explore. Walking through their land and seeing their farm was fun too.

Hammerhead Ranch was great. It was easy to find, had lovely amenities, and the hosts and other guests were incredibly friendly. Do yourself a favor and schedule a massage with Anna while you are there. Would love to stay again.
