I may have read the description wrong but I thought I read that there was a bathroom and shower house. There was neither. I camp in my car and this location did provide peace and quiet at a reasonable price.

We cancelled our trip, so cannot give a review. Kristal was quick to respond to our messages but because of the extreme cold and snowy roads we never left home.

Nice yard for your dogs or kids access to 50amp power plus water! This is the second time we stayed here and will stay again when we come down for another long weekend!

Had a great time camping out here. It's well removed so it's quite and far away from city lights. We were able to see the stars at night, even part of the Milky Way.

What a wonderful stay! Kristal does have a piece of heaven there. Will certainly stay again. Only downside is you can hear the trucks go by from the parkway. All in all 4 stars for sure, thank you Kristal!

Loved Kristal and her open communication. The property is beautiful and you’re sitting out in the open if you’re using electric which can get a little hot in the superheat but site is level and lots of room to run around with the doggy! And the pond and trees, area is just beautiful. It is about 25 minutes to Taylorsville which is where I was working this week:) Thank you, we will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!

We had a wonderful weekend camping with our new travel trailer. The site was beautiful and flat gravel made leveling easy and quick. The property was park like and we were graced every day with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. We did have to make a WalMart run and it was very convenient easy trip. Highly recommend this site!!

Kristal was an amazing host, especially for us being first time hip campers. This place offered a peaceful getaway. that was also close to Beautiful Bardstown. The amenities were everything we needed and even though we had a shower, we took full advantage to the outdoor shower on the property.

Beautiful quiet spot on the driveway. This was our first hip camp stay, which understandably caused Kristal some concern about us booking last minute, but we were able to convince her we would be respectful.

Nice place with lots of yard for you and your pets. Close to all the distilleries around the area. Access to water and power right at the site but with the power I believe she has it listed as 30 amp and I was prepared to use an adapter plug to go to 30 amp because my camper is 50 amp but I looked at the plug at the site and was pleased to see that it is a 50 amp plug so just be prepared if your camper runs on 30 amp and has a 30 amp cord you will need an adapter to go from your 30 amp cord to the 5 amp plug. Over all 5 outta 5 stars!

Kristal provided us with a quiet & pleasant place to park our RV for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful country setting. Her little homestead is centrally located offering a great opportunity to leisurely explore the surrounding area. She is a most thoughtful and considerate host and we hope to return in the future!

Kristal was so kind and thoughtful, she made sure we were settled okay and when we didn’t have the proper electrical hookup, she had an adaptor - so helpful!
Her land had beautiful views of the Kentucky countryside and sunset, on a lovely winding, rural dead end street. There was lots of room for our pup to run around and the historic town of Bardstown was only a short drive away.

Such beautiful land! We enjoyed the amazing front porch and the peaceful atmosphere. Outdoor shower was so great! The stall for the shower could be taller/feel more secure, but clothespins we had with us helped with the flapping curtains.
We could hear the highway some, but I didn’t find that disturbing at all. It was distant and faint from where we parked our camper on the driveway.
I would stop again if I were in the area!

This was our second stay. Like the first, it was indeed a little slice of heaven! It was lovely, quiet, and our host was fantastic! We unfortunately weren’t there long enough to really enjoy what was on the property open to us and the weather didn’t always cooperate. Both of which didn’t hamper our stay. The local area was amazing, quaint, with wonderful people oozing with kindness.
As a note, it was a bit tricky to back into the driveway, but nothing a couple of tries didn’t sort out. Also, getting there was a bit of a shock because my navigation took me via a route I wouldn’t have chosen hauling my travel trailer. I would recommend taking the longer route using the numbered routes to get to this beautiful property.
In the end, I would absolutely recommend! Amazing host and simply an enjoyable stay.

It was good for an overnight stop. Kristal is a wonderful host. Reasonably level gravel driveway with 50 amp power. Be aware that the site is not secluded and you can hear the traffic on the nearby parkway. Oh, and the sunset was beautiful.
