Great group and pet camping spot!
Great space! Space 1 was perfect for some privacy and letting the dog run around and great creek access. Hosts were great and welcoming! Can’t wait to come back!

Site 4 - Secluded Maple Creek River bottoms
Seclusion in a rural paradise
Beautiful seclusion with flocks of wild turkeys, roaming deer, owl duets and choruses of frogs. Great sleep. We are a truck back camper and so there were some very tight clearance issues limiting us to one site only. The other sites would be great for tents. I would also suggest 4WD drive is a necessity due to the steepness of the access road.
Ken is a great host and guided us in. The surrounding country side is stunning and I would image great for hiking and biking. A rural paradise

We loved camping on Ken’s land…a private oasis down in the woods..not good for large RV’s but for an off grid experience, we loved it! So did our dogs!!

Awesome camping oasis! Our dog loved exploring the spacious camp site. The flushing toilet is a great perk. Super nice hosts.

Site 4 - Secluded Maple Creek River bottoms
Ken's site 4 worked out well for us. It could easily fit 4 tents on it and still feel roomy. The creek access at site 1 is the best. The toilet the listing mentioned is a flush toilet which was nice, but a little far from sites 4 and 1, so we brought a little camp toilet our kids could use when it was an emergency. Sites 4 and 1 were super secluded and site 4 had awesome shade and trees for hammocks. There is a convenience store 6 min from camp but you still definitely feel like you're not in town or someone's backyard. We had a really great weekend and would love to come back.

Secluded camping!
Perfect spot for tents! The fire pit was nice and had a cooking grate. Nice and secluded. There is a toilet for number 2!

Great campsite! Lots of lovely trees, and plenty of room. The kids had a lot of fun searching the creek for arrowheads.

I thought it was a little silly that some of the reviews called this place magical, after this weekend I totally agree!! It’s beautiful. Plan on coming back every year!!

Need 4 wheel drive. Good tires.
We loved the campsite. However the road needs to have gravel so you don't get stuck when it rains.

Come Experience
It was our families first time camping and it was a wonderful experience, I recommend it if your trying to spend time with family without phones. Beautiful place lots of trees and shade

Relaxing stay
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It felt very secluded. The ground was fairly level. Definitely meant for tent camping as they are not kidding when they tell you it is steep getting down the hill to the spots. I would recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. You could occasionally hear vehicles from the main road above, but it was by no means loud and we were in the spot closest to the road. The crickets are very loud, but we really enjoy that. There was a little pond and creek. We did see two snakes in one day. I believe they were gopher snakes. If that is the case they are non venomous but will still bite if provoked, so just be aware. The spot had a lot of shade, a picnic table and a nice sized fire pit.

Awesome— Kiddos will love it.
I wish I could keep this place a secret— but it’s best to share how awesome it is. We stayed in Site 1 with our two kids (4 & 6) and they loved it. The creek is easily accessible and we woke up to a bunch of deer in our site.
4wd for Site 1 is definitely recommend. We took a teardrop in and had no issues.

We enjoyed our stay at Maple Creek River Bottoms. Very pretty and shady with all the tree overhang. Very private and quiet during the day. The crickets are really loud at night, but we had ear plugs. I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing.
Secluded, beautiful and a little rough around the edges. Weren't able to stay in the creek River bottoms as the hill coming up would have been to steep for our RV. With that being said are hosts showed us a better place that would fit our needs with our four-year-old grandson. This is a beautiful area, but there truly are no amenities.
