Out of Ocala at Griffin Ranch
We loved our accommodations however the electricity was spotty at best. But Carl did his best to rectify it. He also said the next time you wanted to visit he would upgrade us at the same cost we paid for what we rented. We felt welcomed there and our pet Oreo loved it there. He loved all the peacocks.

Our stay at Griffin Ranch was exactly what we needed. We wanted a peaceful getaway to unplug from the world. Carl and Terry were very friendly and provided fantastic hospitality, giving us the opportunity to upgrade our cabin, which was beautiful. We got to wake up and see the peacocks walking around just outside the window and a northern cardinal that flew onto the porch throughout the day. We enjoyed the walking trail in the back and, of course, the horses! We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back.

What a wonderful place to escape to! Carl and Terri were super-welcoming and made us feel at home and relaxed. Beautiful grounds to walk on and I fed a couple of horses some apples, which made me feel happy! I sat and read on the porch and my husband went fishing nearby in Eureka. The cottage has everything you need, and we got a great gift basket for a birthday treat. Nice little market nearby was helpful.

Loved the space. I went for a quiet relaxing weekend to shut off from the world and that’s exactly what I did. The property was great, enjoyed quit walks along the lake with my dog and just sitting in rocking chair on front porch. Highly recommend.

We had a great time. The owners were kind as can be and very friendly. The property was beautiful and we had a very relaxing time. This is a great place to stay if wanting to visit the Ocala area.

I took a weekend at Griffin Ranch, just me and my dog. Beautiful farm. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Stayed in Carlie's Cabin right by a wetland with Sand Hill Cranes. Pine woods and pastures, dark skies at night, and a comfortable well-equipped cabin. Full kitchen, living room, comfortable bed and nice porch and deck. Good farmhouse feel and private. There is some occasional gunfire from a nearby private backyard range, but it is only here and there and not a safety concern.. If you feel like watching TV, I recommend bringing some DVD's or your laptop and an HDMI cable. They do have wifi in case you need it. If your looking for a nice stay in the country, this is a good spot.

We had an amazing time at Griffin Ranch! Gorgeous property with peacocks, horses, and beautiful moss-covered live oaks with quaint, wooden cabins and acres of nature to explore. Carl was a gracious host and we will definitely be back!

Swamp adventure! This stay was super exciting, not only was it clean, beautiful, and secluded, but it is in the heart of spring country, which is this Floridians favorite pastime in the dog days of Summer, everyday we drove through a different part of Ocala National Forrest, nature lovers dream!

We stayed in the 1 room cottage on the property. For being 100+ years old, it was done up very comfortable. window shaker. Clawfoot tub, sink and toilet. Everything that wasn't new in there seemed to be very period appropriate. We stayed to visit some historical sites in the area, like the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings house. Turns out she visited the Griffin Ranch as well. We look forward to visiting again in a cooler month and camping to we can really explore the property. Thank you for the gift basket and being great host. Hope to see meow meow next time we visit.

Me and my bf and our dog loved staying at the Griffin Ranch. We loved exploring the nearby trails and seeing the horses. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We ended up upgrading to Dads place. The birdwatching is awesome.

Just what we needed! Sad we couldnt stay longer, also sad we forgot our home-made peanut butter pie! It was so good! Great hosts made us feel special & right at home. It was quiet and peaceful, and a beautiful property! Especially around the pond. :) It rained quite a bit during our stay and the cabin was very cozy and comfortable for those times. Honestly no complaints and definitely will stay again.

We loved our stay! Super convenient for exploring Ocala National Forest and the nearby springs! We were given a bigger cabin than we expected with great ac and all the promised amenities. They also gave us a delicious peanut butter pie 😄 We loved cuddling with Meowmeow the resident kittie! we will def be back with our friends! thank you so much for all the thoughtful details!

The entire place was a blast!!! Each cabin looked cool. Was very easy to find off the main road. The friendly cats had to be the best part. Tiger was great!!! The showers were awesome too. Hot water was perfect. Would definitely come again, and 100% recommend this place for couples or families!

Griffin Ranch was amazing! Such a beautiful place super close to Ocala National. Carl was amazing to say the least. Amazing hospitality all around! There’s a fire pit outback, a grill, everything to cook with and prepare a home cooked meal. The cats were super friendly as well as the horses on-site. There’s also a small grocer very close by that has local grass fed steaks that are amazing!! I throughly enjoyed my stay at The Griffin Ranch and will most certainly be returning!

Carl was an absolutely lovely host. He was so accommodating — even letting us plug in our electric vehicle! He gave us great recommendations for local places to check out and was so welcoming. The ranch is located a convenient drive from the National Forest and from multiple natural springs, perfect for day trips.
