Adult-only campervan site with hot tub pitches in North Yorkshire

Kip & Nook is about as hip as Hipcamps come, offering cool campervanners a grown-up place to stay in the North Yorkshire countryside. We say “grown up” because it’s adults only but this place is certainly full of fun. Park up here for the night and you can soak in a private hot tub or head to the bar to play table tennis and pool surrounded by vintage cars, motorbikes and neon signs. You can have pizza for dinner, join a yoga class or book a session in the sauna and ice bath. And if you need to work or work out while you’re here, there’s a co-working space and a gym on site as well. This is, as the owners say, a modern take on camping.

Those are all the extras and what sets this site apart, but let’s take a look at the basics. There are six gravelled pitches here; three of which (The Kip, The Nook and The Tees) have hot tubs. The others are "standard" pitches but as standards are high, all have water, electric hook-up and wifi. As it’s a boutique little place, no one is far from the contemporary facilities block which offers a couple of sleek modern showers, flushing loos and washing-up sinks. There’s a chemical disposal point too. The hot tubs have some screening so you can soak in relative privacy but otherwise separation is provided by low fences only which means everyone can enjoy the backdrop of farmers' fields stretching as far as you can see.

Most of what’s in view is part of Pinkney Carr Farm, the 250-acre estate on which Kip & Nook is found. Guests are welcome to wander designated routes around the farm – and there’s plenty more good walking nearby. The banks of the River Tees are one option and there’s the whole of the Yorkshire Dales National Park stretching away to the west. Raby Castle, Richmond and Bolton Abbey all offer places to visit on days out and there are lots of good food options to tempt you to dine out and about. We reckon try them at lunchtime as evenings are best spent right here in Kip & Nook’s on-site bar.

The Kip
What an experience, 100% recommend!
Kip & Nook is such a cool campsite and had so much to offer during our stay! It was such a unique experience and we could not recommend it enough. The host greeted us on arrival and was so welcoming. The whole team there really made us feel at home. You could spend days here and not feel any need to leave as there is so much to do. We played pool, ping pong, had cocktails & pizzas and topped it off with an experience in their Kirami Sauna. The outdoor sauna experience was £45 and was worth every penny! This was the highlight of our stay along with the private wood-fired hot tub. We will definitely be back!!
