We loved our time here. We were made very welcome and it was just perfect for us. Very quiet and peaceful at night. It was just us pitched up during our stay. Lovely flat grass surface for the campervan. Our dogs enjoyed themselves and loved watching Chicken TV! Resident dog Bear is an absolute hoot! So funny and a real character. We will definitely be back.

Really great little tucked away spot. Was lovely that it was only us there as the site only caters for minimal pitch ups. Very peaceful and quiet.
There were chickens roaming free and a pony on site.
Silas (the host) was very friendly and allowed us to help ourselves to fruit from the trees and eggs from the coop.
Compost loo was clean and tidy.
Pleasant walk from the site along the canal.
We were also allowed to let our dog off lead on the site if we wished.

Rustic site which is just what we were after. Felt like we were staying with friends. Super friendly host who invited us to watch the sunset from his private corner. We all fell in love with his puppy, Bear, and it was lovely to have our dogs off leash in the site. Great off leash dog walk from the site as well, lovely walking along the canal.
Had a European/french feel. Even picked apples from their massive apple tree to make apple pie at home!
This was just a perfect stay, thanks for having us Silas and Bear, can’t wait to come back.
