Awesome camp!
We got really late, but our host was very friendly and helpful. Even though it’s been dark and about 9:30-10pm, a guy on ATV wait for us to open the gate, and showed a direction to our site. Toilet was very clean, and the campsite itself looked really safe and cozy. Definitely recommend!

Camping near Yosemite!
We loved camping here. It is closeby Yosemite National Park. This place has a number of camping spots. You might need a 4WD for some of them but the listing mentions that as well. There was a water tap too for stuff like doing dishes, etc. The porta potty was clean and regularly maintained. The terrian is a bit rocky so make sure to take some sleeping pads to make it more comfortable. The host was courteous and greeted us when we arrived.
Would definitely recommend it!

A friendly and spacious campsite
This is a great spot to camp. Vivian and her husband were very friendly, and the property is spacious with useful amenities and some cool places to explore. There are two shower stalls on a small hill, and a useful water spicket in the central area of the camp that we used frequently. There are a dozen or so other camp sites available on the property, and they each have different amounts of space and different views. So it's cool to see where we may choose to stay next time. Be aware that there is a fairly steep dirt path that needs to be climbed in order to get to the higher campsites. So if you have a less than capable vehicle, or if you plan to use the bathroom/showers a lot, that may be noteworthy. Although in our case, the host used his 4x4 to carry our stuff up for us. The other campers were friendly and courteous while we were there. The only possible downside is the hosts dog, Charlie. He helped himself to some food we left on our table and got into the trash before peeing on a chair and getting out of dodge. But if you keep your stuff put up, you'll have a great time. There's a lot of waterfalls within 1 1/2 hours of the campsite, we recommend checking those out while you're there.

Camping close to Yosemite
We loved camping on Vivian’s land. They have a beautiful farm with goats and chickens. We even got fresh eggs for breakfast. The campsites are spread out and very spacious. They have a great outdoor shower and the port-a potty was very clean.

Austin and Vivian are awesome hosts, very friendly and helpful. I had a great time socializing with them. They are brand new to this and they have the perfect personalities to operate a campground.
The camping is a bit rustic but they are working hard to develop the campsites and I think it will be a great campground as they make upgrades and improvements from what the previous owner had done. Charlie, their Great Pyrenees dog is super friendly and very loveable. The property is beautiful and the the nearby town of Groveland is lovely, quaint and has at least 2 very good restaurants. The last 6 - 8 miles to get to the campground is very steep and windy but the road is in very good condition, just be prepared.
I very much recommend the Red Dragonfly campground

Gateway to Yosemite
This camp site is right outside of Groveland with easy access to Yosemite, Hetch Hetchy, Carlon Falls and so much more. It’s a good base camp while exploring the area. Enjoyed the outdoor shower, clean port-a-potty and star gazing. Careful with the mosquitoes tho they will getcha.

RV camping-beautiful spot
This was a great experience. Pamela was very friendly and helpful and the location was scenic. We were able to fit our 30 ft travel trailer into this spot but most others were tent camping. About an hour and a half to Yosemite valley and very close to some restaurants/brewery and groveland so it was a good location. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Memorial weekend camping
We had an awesome time staying at the ranch over the memorial weekend. Loved the campsite, was pretty private with a nice view from the hillside. All of the sites are spread out, it felt very nice and quiet, with not too many people around, like in most of camping resorts I've been to. The property is beautiful, has a creek, which you can hike up and down. Amenities look nice and new.
Pamela, the host, was very accommodating and helpful. Gave us tips and directions for lakes to do swimming and paddle boarding.
The ranch is conveniently located close to Don Pedro reservuar, where you can do water activities, town and stores, and of course, Yosemite national park. Highly recommend!

A land for all! Super welcoming <3
My friends and I loved our experience camping on Pamela's land! Pamela was so kind and attentive to our schedule and experience. She was replying very quickly through hipcamp whenever we were running late to get back to her campsite or needed something like a little bit of cooking oil! Her dog Charlie was so welcoming and chill as well. He was not a bother at all and was very calm, and people-friendly. The site itself was quite spacious and we were fortunate to be the only ones on the campground this weekend. There was more than enough wood available to make fire around the designated communal pits. And the showers.. so spacious and refreshing! It was awesome showering after our long day hiking in Yosemite under the moonlight! I would recommend this beautiful place 10/10. Close enough to the west entrance of Yosemite. I would definitely comeback again.
