Welcome to Blackberry Farm, a rustic retreat in Bolinas on the western slope of Mount Tamalpais. Set on historic Peter’s Dairy Ranch, our farm offers a grassy meadow with 4 walk-in tent sites, plus two rustic sheds. Wake to songbirds, hens, and sheep, and fall asleep under the stars. Amenities include an outdoor shower and hot tub, a covered cooking area, hangout space, tree swings, and redwood grove seating. Just a 15-minute walk to downtown Bolinas and the beach. Group camping welcome—please self-book all sites and sheds for private gatherings (max 20 people). Reservations open 3 months in advance. Sites book out fast. Closed seasonally from Thanksgiving to early March. This was my second time returning to camp on this beautiful farm. I love how close it is to town (about a 20 min walk to Bolinas) and there are so many amazing hiking spots nearby. Having the access to the hot tub after our long hike was an added bonus! Be sure to bring earplugs -- the roosters can get quite rowdy in the mornings.

The host gave me a warm welcome. I stayed in the Elk cabin and it stayed warm and comfy at night. All the guests I met were awesome. The place is quiet, nature, has a nice fire place, and more amenities that you would ever need.

BBF Site 3 - Cypress Right
Meadow camping was lovely, especially our first night when no one else was there. The little outbuildings with kitchen, bathrooms and dining area were really nice and we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub before sleep. We also sat by the propane campfire in the morning with coffee and fog, it was beautiful. There was a great hike we took in Mt Tam State Park that we'd recommend--Matt Davis to Pantoll and down the Steep Ravine. It was an excellent way to spend part of the day, with a dip at Stinson Beach to end! Thanks to the folks at Meadow Camping!

Loved the area, super secluded from the city life and more wilderness. Loved the animals on the farm. Super quiet. Seeing the stars at night was amazing. Waking up to the roosters was great from a normal alarm. Would definitely come back.

Loved our time at BlackBerry Farms while we explored the Muir Woods and surrounding areas. The site was clean and safe and the amenities (kitchenette, shower, gas fireplace, and toilets) were well kept and very much appreciated. The kids loved running around and seeing the chickens and goats and sheep. Already thinking of future trips where BBF might be a great overnight option on our way to further destinations.

We camped. We surfed. We hot-tubbed. We enjoyed the company of our fellow camping neighbors in the meadow farm. Wonderful lil slice of Northern Cal. Peaceful. Bolinas and that whole Marin county reminds me of old California.

Stayed in our van with our 1.5yr old. Beautiful scenery close to the beach and downtown. Host was super responsive and friendly. Kitchen and shower all great (didn’t use hot tub but looked amazing). True to the description you are near some of the animals, this seemed special! The grounds were beautiful. Some campsites seemed to be on a slant so worth double checking if you’re camping. Overall amazing and would definitely book again.

Loved the environment and kitchen!! The flush toilets and shower are a big plus. Went mid-summer when it was too foggy for star-gazing, but it was still a peaceful, fresh night. Will definitely come back for a retreat

The host greeted upon arriving and greeted us. After a quick discussion about some rules and resources, we set up our tent. All the facilities, including the Firepit and bathrooms were in working order. Be advised, all the templates are relatively close to each other (no more than 40 feet).

Walter was very welcoming when we arrived. We loved the well stocked, communal kitchen and eating area. The shady redwood swing area, animals grazing, and picnic tables were lovely. Our walk to town during sunset was such a wonderful experience filled with blackberry nibbling and a full moon rising. We all hope to return in the near future.

Blackberry Farm is a beautiful place - we slept in our van, but the facilities are rustic, nice and adequate - pretty much everything you need. Walking distance to town(Bolinas) and the beach - perfect. It was our 2nd time here, and we would stay here again. .

This site has a restorative rustic romance to it that was perfect for myself and my young child. We had everything we needed and deeply enjoyed the whimsy and beauty of this well maintained and cared for site. BBF was a perfect landing place for us with a lot of magic for children including sheep, chickens, and enclosed safe areas that kept a wild feeling but were close enough to camp that I was not fearful of him getting hurt or lost - so it allowed me to rest more as a parent. The farm is beautiful and obviously cared for with a lot of delicate love and respect for the land.

We loved camping at Sirima and Walter's farm! We used to camp at a lavender farm with alpacas that no longer exists and were delighted to find this one. We spent the early afternoon at Stinson Beach and made our way over for check-in, and Walter greeted us with a quick tour of the property. Everything was charming and well-equipped, with just the right level of amenities to be comfortable with two-school aged kids while still feeling disconnected from our routine. The girls were excited to "laugh" with the chickens, roosters, and ducks, and admired the sheep from the Fairy Ring. Downtown Bolinas was an easy, short drive up the road (word of caution—parking is very limited!), and beach access is walkable from there. Will definitely be returning 🩷

No surprises, well maybe one pleasant surprise it had more charm than I was expecting! It is a fun and functional space that is as advertised. Walter is very friendly and helpful and they have a very cool farm that makes their Hipcamp setting very charming. I would definitely stay again!

Just an amazing magical site with a very well stocked outdoor kitchen and gathering area, nice hot tub after a long day hiking and bonus we got to buy fresh eggs on our way out. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating!
