Cozy little shack !
We loved the cozy little cabin ! We had the property to ourselves and wandered the area with our pup care free! The little heater in the cabin came in handy too so don’t worry about freezing over night ! Dana was a great host and was very quick with the replies whenever we had questions.

Creekside Casita near the Ocean
The Casita was perfect for two people and two pets. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt very clean. The electric heater was great for the cold mornings. The refrigerator was perfect to store a few days worth of food. There are two showers, both with hot water. One shower is at the Casita and private. The real flush toilet was a very nice touch. No need for camp waste bags. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. For cooking the site came with both a propane stove and charcoal bbq grill. The site was close to a lot of stores and the beach. Most things were 10-15 minute drive. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Dana's tiny home. Access to both the grill and the stove made cooking our meals super convenient. The space was cute and thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom was shared with another HipCamp Tent and while we could see the tent up the hill, it was far enough away that the space still felt decently private. Only disappointment was that we didn't see any goats, kitchens or her Border Collie, however, a super friendly cat came by to hang out with us during breakfast on Sunday. So cute!

Safari Tent Under the Stars
Pros: The tent was fairly spacious (perfect for 2 people!) and felt like we had our own space! It also definitely kept a little more heat than a regular tent would have, which was great as the nights/mornings were a little cold! I also really appreciated the washroom/bathroom—really cool addition to the space.
Cons: The tent itself could have been a little cleaner, especially for the cost. Maybe replace the rug or bedding inside, or even add a liner along the inside walls of the tent so that you don’t have to see all of the dirt! Also parking was a little tricky as there isn’t much room at the bottom of the hill where the tent is.

Beautiful quiet area
It’s a beautiful place, however, it was not kept clean. We understand that it’s a tiny house, and we shouldn’t expect things to be perfect. However, there were things left by previous visitors. I’m not saying to not stay there, but don’t expect perfection.

Safari Tent Under the Stars
Had a nice stay in the safari tent. We visited during the summer so it was hot, but we were out and about during the day, and relaxed at the tent in the evenings. If you’re plan is to camp and hang out at the property, then I’d suggest this as a winter and spring visit. It’s nice and cool in the AM and PM but is otherwise in the sun. The amenities (running water, toilet, shower) are convenient and appreciated. We had a nice visit and would definitely recommend.

Cozy camping!
I adored this beautiful home and area. The outdoor chairs and tables were lovely especially at night with the lights. The home was clean and cozy. The bed was very nice, but was warm at night and there wasn’t ventilation up there. But was still cozy.

A delightful and beautiful place
A delightful and beautiful place to stay! Dana had clear and thoughtful instructions and I loved all the wonderful details, like the hand made recycled jeans shower curtain, the location of the safari tent, the recommendations of places to go to eat, taste wine, hike, etc. The drive up to the safari tent is very steep.

Serene Camping
Great location right in between Morro Bay and Atascadero! Definitely stop by Halfway Station for some drinks and music. Having a nice bathroom was a definite plus for us and we stayed very warm in the tent with our sleeping bags.

The tiny house was lovely! The hill had great views and the cabin was well stocked. We were visited by the family dog who was sweet and turkeys who were shy. Morro bay was also a very cute town to visit.
Dana was ver communicative and kind.

Thank you so much! This was such a beautiful, wonderful, little oasis of perfect for our family. We saw Wild turkeys and babies, kept a look out for the beaver, humming birds, deer and said hello to the neighboring goats and cows. The Casita was WONDERFUL- so sweet and cozy and the kids adored the loft. There was everything you could need in a clean, thoughtful, sweet setting. We were minutes from the beach and hiking and easy to make meals right on site. We can’t wait to have another chance to stay.

The loveliest tiny home!
Great communication with the host, Dana, prior to and during our stay. Property feels secluded but not difficult to get to at all. So much nature around. A trickle of a creek but still nice to have access to/view of. Felt safe & private. Just the loveliest tiny home! Our first experience in a tiny home, and Dana really set the bar high! Everything was well thought out. Fire pit, outdoor propane stove, grill, lounge chairs, shower. Nice little paths to roam on. Our dog felt very comfortable exploring. Clean linens, comfy loft bed & sofa bed. The bathroom is separate from the tiny home but clean and decorated really nicely. FYI no cell service, but Dana gave us a heads up that service would be spotty ahead of time! Also, check your dogs for ticks after your trip just in case.

Silence is Golden
Silence is Golden ! We would return again. The location is scenic and close to town. The best part was the silence. We have never stayed in a location close to town but such a tranquil location. The tiny house and bath house are great. Hiking up the hill for cell reception was fun too

Great Glamping Experience
The stay was all we needed for a glamping experience. It was especially nice for our dogs to roam around nearby and the shower, sink, and toilet were also close enough. The sleeping arrangement was better than anticipated but make sure you bring extra blankets.

Cute and comfy tiny house
Such a great spot! Gorgeous area, cute little creek, nice bathroom and everything you need inside. Nice to have a shower right outside, although the instructions said hot water would last 5-7 mins and it only lasted about 1 on the first night we were there. Not a big deal but something to note. There also aren’t any goats like the photos because they had to move them for safety just fyi

Sweet and cozy spot
We loved the Creekside Casita! It had everything we needed for a cozy night away. I loved all the homey little touches. The area and surrounding area were so beautiful! I definitely recommend taking the hike up the hill for the view at sunset!

The Casita was truly magical and an utterly peaceful stay. All of the re-purposed materials and small details of Dana’s place made it special - from the comfy bed in the loft to the tree lights to the new outdoor shower - it was perfect. We hope to return soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dana's tiny home! It's the perfect little humble abode to call home for a weekend. It truly has all of the essentials for a relaxed retreat and is located conveniently close to Paso Robles, Morro Bay, and SLO.

Dana’s tiny house was a great place to get away and recharge! The house is cute and cozy. It was a little smaller than I had originally thought, but still very comfortable and has a nice outdoor seating area with string lights and a fireplace.
It’s just a short drive away from Morro Bay and Atascadero, and not too far of a drive from San Luis Obispo, so there’s plenty to do. Dana provided us with great recommendations for dining and hikes a few days before our trip as well which was really nice!

Extremely lovely place! Exactly as pictured. Stayed for a weekend and spent some time at some wineries and in Morro Bay, and this place was perfect. Very cozy, quiet, comfortable. Finding it and check in was easy, Dana was responsive when i had questions. Would stay again!

The Creekside Casita was so sweet! The space was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with the perfect supplies for a camping getaway. The memory foam mattress and pillows provided deserve a special shout-out, what a pleasant surprise. The sound of the creek was also a magical touch. Thanks to Dana we were welcomed with all the check-in details one could need which made our after dark arrival a breeze. Dana also provided many local recommendations for the area including dining, coffee, and wine which we greatly appreciated! We would love the opportunity to stay here again.

Safari Tent Under the Stars
Decent spot, not worth the price
Strange directions, was expensive given that we had to bring our own blankets and pillows, propane, firewood, etc. Reviews stated bedding was provided, but when we tried to confirm this ahead of time, we were told that this wasn’t available any longer. We tried to cancel on account of this (was not intending a camping trip), but was ignored when i inquired about that possibility (two week notice cancellation policy - which is already extreme - but even a “tHats not possible” would have sufficed). The wood fire stove flue was a little tricky, took us a bit of trial and error to not fill the tent with smoke. All in all, it was more work for us to stay here when there are way more comfortable and cheaper options.
