I am on site if you need anything or a phone call away. Feel free to hike up to the bench, past the safari tent, on the hill or over to the chairs and table nest to the field where the sheep and donkey are at the other side of the creek. Keep an eye out in the mornings, you may see a family or two of wild turkeys or deer cruising the property. Kick back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the seasonal running stream and property. Nestled in the heart of the country-side, our 12-acre farm stead is only 10 minutes away from Morro Rock and a short distance to the Paso Robles wine country with over 300 wineries for tastings. Frog Hollow is perfectly located for the weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday. Come visit us and check out our lovely land and quaint comfy living. Shiloh, our Border Collie, is on site to greet you upon arrival as well as our frisky farm cat, Jed. Our free standing casita is cozy and nestled in a natural serene creekside setting. The loft has a spacious queen size bed for your sleeping pleasure with adjustable reading lights on either side of the bed. The living area offers a pull out couch for another adult or 2 kids. Situated on 12 acres, this Safari tent is the perfect spot to get away and relax from the pressure and chaos of your daily routine. It’s a spot where you will unplug and enjoy the songs of the evening crickets and frogs. The 13’ Stout Bell tent is sitting on a hillside under an oak tree. Our Bell tent has 2 sturdy cots with a wool and cotton bed roll for peaceful sleeping. Please BRING your own bedding, sleeping bag or blankets and a pillow for yourselves. Inside you will find cozy sitting cushions, layers of carpets, a wood burning stove which is perfect for the kettle. The Bell tent has plenty of head room to stand and move around in. Had a wonderful time here, so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect central location for a drive in either direction to Morro bay or Atascadero. Loved the peace and quiet, thank you!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Dana's tiny home. Access to both the grill and the stove made cooking our meals super convenient. The space was cute and thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom was shared with another HipCamp Tent and while we could see the tent up the hill, it was far enough away that the space still felt decently private. Only disappointment was that we didn't see any goats, kitchens or her Border Collie, however, a super friendly cat came by to hang out with us during breakfast on Sunday. So cute!

Safari Tent Under the Stars
Pros: The tent was fairly spacious (perfect for 2 people!) and felt like we had our own space! It also definitely kept a little more heat than a regular tent would have, which was great as the nights/mornings were a little cold! I also really appreciated the washroom/bathroom—really cool addition to the space. Cons: The tent itself could have been a little cleaner, especially for the cost. Maybe replace the rug or bedding inside, or even add a liner along the inside walls of the tent so that you don’t have to see all of the dirt! Also parking was a little tricky as there isn’t much room at the bottom of the hill where the tent is.

Beautiful quiet area
It’s a beautiful place, however, it was not kept clean. We understand that it’s a tiny house, and we shouldn’t expect things to be perfect. However, there were things left by previous visitors. I’m not saying to not stay there, but don’t expect perfection.

Safari Tent Under the Stars
Had a nice stay in the safari tent. We visited during the summer so it was hot, but we were out and about during the day, and relaxed at the tent in the evenings. If you’re plan is to camp and hang out at the property, then I’d suggest this as a winter and spring visit. It’s nice and cool in the AM and PM but is otherwise in the sun. The amenities (running water, toilet, shower) are convenient and appreciated. We had a nice visit and would definitely recommend.

Cozy camping!
I adored this beautiful home and area. The outdoor chairs and tables were lovely especially at night with the lights. The home was clean and cozy. The bed was very nice, but was warm at night and there wasn’t ventilation up there. But was still cozy.
