Great sites. Chris welcomed us with a bottle of wine and 4 fresh eggs which we used to make breakfast sandwiches for dinner over our firepit. We didn't get to do the hikes as we were just passing through. A beautiful area! Will return.

Incredible campsite-friendly hosts!
What an incredible campsite and warm friendly hosts! It is private, comfortable and the view is absolutely spectacular the whole 360 degrees around. The site has amenities such as a small outhouse, picnic table and workstation. We were so excited we could build and fire as well as bring our dog.
There is so much to explore around the campsite. We hiked across the wash to the mesa, we saw a quail guzzler and wonderful sweeping views across the whole valley. 5 Stars, would come back in a heartbeat.

High desert camping with my dog
Great high desert getaway with endless hiking opportunities right off the back of the property. Close to Ballinger Canyon just up the 33 for off roading options. The 4 spots are nicely spaced apart for privacy and noise minimization.
The toilet is a bucket with cover type in a small outhouse structure. If you have a group, you would likely want to swap out the bag daily.
Star gazing was fantastic at night. The fresh eggs and wine were a lovely touch.
You can purchase fire wood in the app or at the property. Host was very warm, friendly and helpful upon arrival and departure. Would stay again.

Spectacular Sunsets & Star Gazing!
This was our 5th stay at Chris’s. We love the solitude, privacy, and star gazing. We also appreciate the sparkling clean facilities. Chris takes pride in providing extra amenities and maintaining her camp sites.

This was such a great, peaceful, secluded spot! We only camped one night, but it was great just soaking in the landscape, watching the sunset, and eating Chris’s fresh eggs and wine under a bright and clear Milky Way.

So amazing! It's like we had the whole desert to ourselves, along with the coyotes :p. I haven't seen the milky way in so long and we saw it so clearly, along with lots of shooting stars. Chris was also very sweet and caring! I will come back again!

Amazing Star Gazing!
We love staying at Chris’s! The location is quiet and private with endless daytime and nighttime views. Chris is a very gracious host. She provides wine & eggs plus suggestions for sight seeing & restaurants. We also appreciate the super clean restroom! This was our 3rd stay this year and we already booked another stay!

Great view of the stars!
My husband and I had the best time camping at Chris’ home! The campsites were clean and we really did have the best view of the stars. She even gave us a bottle of wine and some eggs when we arrived. We would love to come back and would recommend this spot to everyone!

Peaceful campsite and stargazing
What a great quick weekend getaway! So glad I found Chris's campsites. It was peaceful and quiet with great views and stargazing. I couldn't even hear the nearby campers - it felt like we were out there all alone (in the best way). Chris is a warm, welcoming host who came to welcome us in person when we arrived, gave hiking and local recommendations, and her husband even came and showed us how to properly deal with rattlesnakes if we saw them. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend it to friends and come back.

Incredible stargazing
Stayed here with some friends and loved it! Chris was so kind and she even brought us a bottle of wine and some fresh eggs. The stargazing was incredible and it was very peaceful out there. We enjoyed it a lot and can’t wait to return!

Stars aplenty!!
Great view, amazing stars, lots of privacy, numerous pairs of ravens putting on aerial displays, plus fresh eggs, a bottle of wine, and (for a donation) firewood. Chris is a delightful, attentive, and generous host. An afternoon breeze kept it cool but it probably gets very hot in mid-summer and there’s no shade — so bring your own. There are nearby trails onto abutting public land. And a short drive to many incredible natural regions. A fabulous way-stop and an excellent place to gather with friends. Thanks so much!!

This is now one of my favorite spots to camp. Nobody around and offers everything you need in order to just slow down life. The wine and fresh eggs is a nice hosting touch for sure. Camp site #3 was perfectly laid out but iI can't imagine other sites not offering the same feeling.
I highly recommend anyone looking to sort of get off the grid to come here.

Chris and Troy's land never fails to provide our group with a great time. Site #3 has a great view of the bluffs that run along the creek bed to the west, and provides enough open space to pitch your tent far enough away from each other that you won't hear your neighbor snore! Don't forget your binoculars because you're very likely to see black tailed jackrabbits, cottontails, all kinds of birds, and maybe a coyote if you're lucky. Truly a special place with very gracious hosts!

Beautiful Views & Great Host!
Chris was an amazing host - providing one of the best first impressions we've ever had at a campsite! We purchased firewood so it was there when we arrived and we were also treated to fresh eggs and chilled wine. The land is gorgeous with wide open spaces that make you feel you've really gotten away. The sunset was epic and there were a multitude of stars for gazing at. We had to leave early for personal reasons. Chris was beyond kind and helpful in what ended up being a trying personal night for us. We will absolutely be back for sunsets, warm breezes, and perfect peaceful vibes.

We love camping on Chris’s land! Even though there are 4 sites, you can’t see any other campers. Awesome location and warm hospitality.
Chris visited our site after we arrived to visits and bring eggs and wine.
This was our second visit and we can’t wait to return!

Loved this experience! It was perfect for a van, with plenty of space to park. We didn't cross paths with other campers -- felt very remote, just the sky and a view and a lovely little campsite. We were greeted with wine and fresh eggs.

I went on a camping trip with my 9yr old kiddo. He wasn’t so into camping but this place totally changed his mind. What an amazing site! Sarah was the perfect host, too.

We really enjoyed our stay at My Way Ranch! It was easy to get to. Chris was an amazing host. She greeted us when we got there with wine and fresh farm eggs. Out site was awesome well groomed and nice and spacious. We walked around and saw the other sites and I think we had the biggest.
We had a visitor (rattler) show up to our site and Chris and her husband came and helped us out with that. The coyotes are interesting to listen to at night and stargazing was great!
They also leave a big bundle of cut wood for your fire [for a small donation]
Overall we really enjoyed our stay they were both very hospitable and we'll definitely return!!

Perfect site, extraordinary hosts, over and above special touches. I'd love to keep this site a secret but it's too good not to share. You will not be disappointed in this location -- it's quiet, private, yet close to hiking on BLM and NFS land. Quirky communities nearby to explore reveal the resilience of those who live in the valley full time. Receiving a bottle of wine and fresh eggs upon arrival is just the start of a perfect outdoor experience.

From the moment we stepped foot onto Chris' campsite--we knew we were in for a treat because the view just takes your breath away! The campsite itself had just the right amenities to make our stay worry-free, while also allowing us to feel truly secluded. We had access to a nicely sized fire pit, firewood, a picnic table, and an outhouse was situationed a few steps aways, allowing for privacy from your camping companions. Perhaps my favorite part of the experience, was how welcoming Chris was as a host--we had the misfortune of rain, but she readily offered us a canopy for our stay, and not only that--but she gifts all her guests a bottle of wine & a basket of farm fresh eggs--straight from her own chickens! The eggs themselves were some of the best eggs I've ever had, and it's apparent that Chris puts a lot of love & care into her property. I highly recommend checking out her campsite, and what the local scene has to offer!
