Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, mit Parken auf einer grossen Wiese für uns alleine. Einfahrt etwas eng, achten auf Dachrinne und nahe am Gebüsch fahren, hatten beim ersten Mal gute Unterstützung zum Einparken.
Nachts ab 24 Uhr recht ruhig über Wochenende war es noch besser. Für Zeltcamping nicht so gut geeignet, da nur ein WC zur Verfügung steht, ev zuerst nachfragen.

While it was conveniently located, and we were able to camp in their private field, no host ever interacted with us during our stay, there were no llamas, it was totally unclear when or if there would be any yoga or meditation as advertised, and the nearby car noise was quite loud.

Too expensive for the experience
First, the posting doesn’t have enough photos, it doesn’t represent what the campsite actually looks like. The communication with the host was limited. He didn’t share details about the bathroom, the shower or the wifi. Overall, the price isn’t justified.

We had a good night sleep. It would have been nice that the host be present when we arrived. The picture was not truely representative. No alpaga in the field and a major road passing behind the camping field. Porter potty very clean, however.

Great location, no shower, clean
The description said they have a shower, but they didn't. I really don't care, but they don't have llamas, either. The field is nicely maintained. The porta potty was clean with the hand washing equipment. We were told by the host potable water is available in the house, but while they are doing the meditation session, nobody was in the house. The location is very convenient. It is a little noisy with the highway noise but not bad. The late meditation had some tambourine (?) sounds, but I could sleep with it. Some mosquitos at dusk. Dewy in the morning.

This place was not at all as described. First off there was zero communication or instructions, we got there after it had already started to get dark. We pulled into what basically looked like a parking lot and were confused so we called the host to verify that we were in the right place and he basically said to just park where ever. There were not actually "camp sites", it was kinda a park where you want. We finally found out that we could drive through the gate at the back of the parking lot looking area to an open field. It wasn't until we were getting set up that we realized that we were in the alpaca/llama felid. There was poop everywhere, so I would not recommend with dogs. The ad says that there is potable water, Showers, wifi laundry, picnic tables and cooking equipment available none of these things, There was a porta potty available.
All in all it was not terrible I would say if you have a busy day and are going to get in late and leave early could be a good option if nothing else is available.

Interesting place.
Zero signs. No one to talk to.
I just pulled in and set up my tent, assuming if i was in the wrong spot, someone would tell me.
You’re basically sitting in the field of a little alpaca farm.
I loved it!
Porta potty was available.
Could not find the water spout.
I would visit again. Cheap place to sleep, no frills.

This place is not a campground at all. The owner really doesn't worry about keep it nice. There was nobody to host us and the owner didn't respond our messages. The grass is high. Llamas poo everywhere.

This place is very random and a bit of a gem, but if you want a place to be left alone then this is the place. Except no instructions for when you get there, and to be a bit thrown off that it is a meditation centre upon arrival. Once you get settled you are in a field that you will at some point realize is the llama/ alpaca field. They will come close to you, but they are harmless. It is pet friendly but I would recommend putting your dog on leash if you have a dog that would run at them. The highway is nearby, but it becomes white noise. There is a clean porta potty available. Apparently you can go in the house to shower, but there were no instructions so it was all a bit unknown. There is an active meditation in the barn on Sundays so you do see a bit of activity then. The stars and open field and cute llamas were nice, I’d come back again for a quick camp getaway.

At first, I really wasn’t sure of the place. When I arrived, the host was not there and he did not respond to my previous messages. There was no indication whatsoever, but then we talked to a tenant there and she answered some questions for us. We parked the car and we brought our tent in the field, which was really nice with the alpacas. We spent a great time there, it was really beautiful. Be careful with the coyotes though, there is A LOT and they scream like crazy (they seemed so close to our tent). But overall, I really liked my stay there. :)

Overall we had a great experience. Camping in a field of wildflowers with alpaca grazing was great! There was a lot of highway noise and train horns throughout the night. There were a few hiccups with check-in. The host didn’t reply to messages through HipCamp the day before or day of and the site wasn’t clearly marked. The potable water is not easily accessible, you need to ask the host. The picnic table isn’t in the campsite area but shared with the retreat center which is also on the property. Thanks for the stay!

Easy access to cooking areas and to the bathroom area.
Livestock friendly at a distance.

Quiet at night, not for sleeping in
It was a decent place to park for the night but although the owner told me there is lots of space, there wasn’t much parking and not much for flat sleeping space for a car. Apparently there was tent spots in a field. And then at about 6am on a Saturday (I got in late Friday) there was a “music/yoga” thing really close to where I parked and the music was super loud so I couldn’t continue to sleep. Had I been in a tent in a field I’m not sure that would have been any better but who knows?!! Maybe I was in the wrong spot etc but there was a really nice Mexican dude named Pancho I think that showed me where the bathroom was and other stuff. The bathroom is inside a house so it’s not what I was expecting in a “camping” scenario. But I may have come too late to see it and I left early so I’m not too sure if there was an area more private and quiet for sleeping past 6am ;).

This listing would really benefit from improved communication.
The site itself is no frills and fine to get some rest while road-tripping, but it was very challenging to get here:
-The HipCamp quadrants take you to the wrong address with a similarly described entrance.
-There is a large language barrier with the host. Asking for clarifying directions would only make us more confused.
-even one photo of the entrance or any of the three gates you have to find would have made this way easier to navigate
However, once we found the site, it was actually quite well maintained grass with a clean port a potty.

This was basically just a field in someone’s backyard, it was very loud at all hours because of the highway although they were relatively accommodating by letting us use their washroom to shower and whatnot as well as their kitchen for dishes but the kitchen was not at all setup for guests with food and dishes lying out. From what I understand the place is run by a sex cult of sorts which was very weird but they did leave us alone and didn’t try to get us to join their sex cult. At night bright Christmas lights were always on just outside the only flat place to setup a tent so bring a sleep mask. The llamas were a nice touch but they were hiding most of the time and not very friendly, there’s some hooplah they told us about how they cleanse your energy but I think they were just scared and extremely matted. Also in order to get to the llamas you have to walk through a very rough field of basically brambles so bring pants and proper shoes or you’ll regret it. The horse was ok but he tried to bite my penis off so just keep your distance. There wasn’t any water and very very little to actually do besides play cards.
If you can book a different campsite particularly a government campsite I’d say do it instead. No shade to the owners they were incredibly friendly and welcoming but this is just not the place. 2/5

Great place to crash for being on the road! Coming up to Vancouver late and stayed the night here since it’s pretty close to the border. The place was clean, host was communicative in finding the spot and the bathroom was clean! It was spacious and we had a car tent camper. I felt safe and wasn’t bothered by the Highway noise at all! I woke up to some super cute llamas today which was a great way to start my morning!! Thank you!

The camping space is good , flat and grassy. The friendly shy Lammas are awesome, but …. The traffic noise from the highway is terrible.

Not quite as advertised. If there was water available I have no idea where it was. It was behind a house in a field which was great but apparently the house is a yoga studio and an Airbnb. We had to leave early one morning to catch a ferry but there was a vehicle in our way that morning and we couldn’t get out. After several unanswered phone calls and texts to the owner of the property we had to beat on the door to get whoever was staying at the house to respond. The owner responded 6 hours later.

This location is not as advertised. There are no “sites” there is a small mown paddock that you share with other campers. Apparently you have access to more of the property but it is inaccessible by a regular vehicle due to drop off into the field. A vehicle and a trailer wouldn’t make it. We were not met by the owner. We did not receive information on how to access water. There is no wifi (as indicated in the ad) There is a dirty port o potty with an even dirtier hand washing station. The owner should adjust the ad to be reflective of the ACTUAL conditions of the site. Don’t stay here unless you want to park in a paddock and dodge piles of llama poop.

Parminder was an exceptional host. All of our needs were met and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The llamas were fun and all amenities marketed were true and provided gracefully! Would recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing tent camping experience.

Did not seem like any campers had been there in awhile, very deserted. Did have a port potty and a hand washing station that was helpful. Definitely had creepy vibes especially for being 2 woman traveling alone. It sufficed for what we needed but would not return.

Overall we had great experience. The owners are really nice and welcoming and the llamas were very intrigued by us. We were able to access the house easily for water and the washroom. The downside is the noisy main road behind the property. We took our dog and she had a great time too!

Absolutely amazing stay. Camped out by the lamas and got to enjoy their company while being able to enjoy the beautiful fields and flowers. Would definitely stay again as the location is right on the boarder and close to Vancouver. Thanks again for a great experience.
