The campsite was so private, We really felt like we were out in the wild, not on somebody's property. Dan was really great. He ran us a power cord from one of the outbuildings so we could charge our phones and whatnot. We stayed for approximately 2 weeks and spent the last week with daily visits from a curious black bear. He wasn't aggressive or big. I made the mistake of leaving out a bag of garbage and of course he swiped it. Lol . That was the first time we met him. Then he popped by once or twice a day after that, probably looking for another easy meal. It was very so awesome to be that close to nature. He was scared of us, but we got some quick glimpses of him. We do have one very huge complaint though......We couldn't extend our time there because it was already booked. Definitely have plans to return and highly recommend it. Beautiful property, wonderful host. Thanks Dan and family. We give you 5 stars!

We loved the place Dan offered here. First of all he was super quick to reply to all my questions, a really friendly host. The site is big enough to park our 21 ft Campervan, with plenty room to walk around, and is very private. We would recommend it to all our friends if they come this direction in the future.

It was great camping here, one spot site with access to city water and an electrical extension to plug a rice cooker to :)
It was quite and private even if its on Dans property. Would deffinitely book again.
He provided a portable potty for us to use which was really nice.
Also if you wanted to go by the water, its 10-15minutes away.
15min to Langford and 20-30min to Uptown/downtown Victoria.

The campsite was very easy to find and the site was private, long and wide enough for our van with power and water. We walked the neighborhood picking wildflowers and choosing books from road side libraries. Great spot!

Simple, no frills. Composting toilet was available, along with power extension cord and water spigot. Private and just what we needed after a long day of biking. Would definitely stay there again.

Great easy stay at Dan’s!
A pretty private spot, good location to explore the Juan De Fuca. So nice that the site has electricity and water and porta potty! Would have good trees to set up a tarp if needed. Perfect for two to four people (2 tents max) camping

Very nice little private spot. Sweet pups stopping in to say hi. You are close to the house, but there is a small hill that gives you all the privacy you need. The owners were very nice and hospitable. I would definitely stay again. Water and electric is there. Perfect for one tent, my propane fire pit, and car.

The place is very spacious for 3 small tents (2 places). The place is very quiet to rest. Bobbi responded very quickly to our questions. If I come back I will book the same site for sure!

This site was perfect for my needs. Quiet and secluded, with potable water and even a porta potty. Bobbi and her husband were incredibly hospitable and helpful. I loved how close the site was to trails and other things, yet it felt far enough away that I wasn't worried about my alone time being interrupted by other people or traffic noise. There was even a friendly neighbor dog who would come check up on me every once and a while! Such a great spot and I cannot wait to visit again.

Great basic campsite, directions to the spot were a little confusing though. Had running water from a hose which was handy. A pop up bathroom on the site, did not try out as we only stayed one night. Was too bad there was a fire ban would have been nice to use the pit. The picnic table was nice to be able to have our meals and sit by as we forgot our chairs.
Overall nice quiet site at the back of their property with a nice wooded scenery.

To be honest, we didn’t end up using the campsite. So my review is on how lovely Daniel was to speak with. And very accommodating. We simply had other plans that didn’t slow us to get out to Sooke.
