Private Yurt in Central Location
Centrally located on Saltspring Island, Living Waters Woodland Farm is a great basecamp to explore the island. Tucked in a beautiful fern and cedar forest, the yurt feels private, spacious and vibey. The set-up is rudimentary with a comfortable bed, some electric candles, a small table, some drinking water + cups, and not much else. Nearby there’s a private compositing toilet located within a teepee (no pun intended). Note that with just the basics available, one will need to bring their own cooking supplies, cooler, outdoor chairs, etc. The property is easy to locate, and the forest is calming wiith the trees providing some nice shade. Nearby the property there’s numerous things to do — including CiderWorks craft cidery where we did a tasting; the town of Ganges where we grabbed takeout from Cassette Dive Bar (very good burgers); and Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park where we enjoyed our takeout by the beach — all within ten minute’s drive from the property.
