Peaceful forested property located bang in the middle of the two villages on Texada Island. Walkable distance is a great cafe and also an ice-cream parlour. There are plenty of walking trails accessible from the acreage. Free range chickens on site who likely will come say hi. Fresh eggs accessible on request. One beach is accessible within walking distance (45 min ish) but the return is uphill! Other beaches are in cycling distance if you want to avoid driving. Nature is in abundance here. Ocean, lakes, forests and mountains, all within a short distance on the island. But services such as a gas station, two grocery/liquor stores, two thrift stores, cafes, an inn that serves food, and a seasonal farmers market on Sundays are available. Powell River is just a relaxing 40min ferry ride away for more activities and services. Ferries run 8+ times a day in each direction.Ever wanted to try van life? Here’s your chance in our beloved camper van Vinny (Vince Vaughan) He had to retire from the road but decided to settle in the shady woods. He is suitable for two adults and a small child, he has one king sized bed, seating for 3 and a table, fridge, stove top, a sink, microwave, heating and even air conditioning!! Suitable for all seasons. An outside table, chairs and gas bbq is provided for your enjoyment. Campfires only when no ban is in effect. Gas campfires allowed and maybe available to borrow. Toilet is a Porta Potty located on the site, that is serviced bi-weekly. Showers are accessible (for a rate) at the RV park in Van Anda. Additional adult charge is for those staying in own RV on the land whilst renting the camper. If you want to rent RV only space (and not Van) please let me know
