Nestled in the pristine Nahatlatch Valley between the Nahatlatch River and Fraser River. Washtock Family Campground offers rustic camping from tents to RVs. We are an ATV friendly campground with ride in ride out accessibility. The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators. We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you. We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use. We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm. We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground. Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake. Overall we had a great experience. But I think the campground has a lot of room for improvement. There are 2 toilets and 1 shower which is great, but the water runs out randomly and there’s no lights for toilet use. The site we used is a good size, only con is the tap on site is hard to access as it was inside the bushes. The neighbouring camps are alright but their dogs are not properly trained and always barks whenever somebody passes by. Some dogs were off leash and even wanders to our site. They said there’s a campfire ban but I saw a lot of people using the fire pits. It’s okay for a one time experience. 👍

over all it Was a good experience, however, a few things, the shower head was not sufficient, the water trickled out of a couple holes and the pressure was not good. If its because of off grid living....fine....however at lease have a decent shower head. It took me 15 minutes to wash my hair. And the shower stall slanted AWAY from the drain, which means other peoples water would be in the shower with you.....eeeewwwww.... ok, I also would have liked to meet the owners, seeing as the website speaks of your wonderful hosts.....whom I Never met.....ggrrr..

camped in hammocks here and our booking didnt have enough trees so they let us switch to a spot that accommodated us better :) fresh produce in their store off of their farm and all the other things you need to camp. this campsite was incredible the views were amazing and theres a trail behind that goes for miles lovely spot

Specific to the campground: PROS: Google Maps and Apple Maps will take you directly to the entrance, so there’s no way you’ll get lost. The campground is clean and well maintained. Most, if not all, campsites have running water. A few small sites are surrounded by trees and vegetation, offering a bit of privacy. There is one hot-water shower and 3 flush toilets, and the owner was very accommodating when we asked to move our tent to a different part of the camp. CONS: The toilet lights don’t work, and even though the campground is not large, there was almost always a line for the showers and toilets. Specific to the people in the campground: We have been camping for years, averaging about 12 nights per year (including international trips), and this is the first time we were deeply disappointed by the behaviour of other campers. Some ran generators for hours late into the night, and one large group decided that many hours of non-stop karaoke were more important than the peace and quiet of everyone else. In the early morning, we were also concerned to see multiple campsites that had left food outside all night.

The work and HEART that goes into running Washtock Family Campground was evident. Exceptionally fine hosts. We enjoyed our site and stay in all regard. Modern flushers and shower available but the camp’s clean and quaint pit privies and shower are a camper’s delight. The solar powered camp store was fully stocked with camp supplies, grocery, Washtock Farm meats, local produce, eggs and other locally made items. All YAYS and thanks!

Rob was there to welcome us and told us we can go see the available sites before we decide which one we'd like to take. Myself and 3 others camped at the Washtock Family Campground last weekend and it was an amazing place to do so. We had so much space around us and in each direction were beautiful views of the farmland and surrounding mountains. The facilities in the campground were great, very clean and always well stocked. Each campsite even had a non-potable water supply to rinse dishes or use for boiling. The host's were very friendly and always available nearby. They run a little shop on the site to supply firewood, food, ice and all sorts of other camping supplies you might need. I would highly recommend staying here!

It was quiet and well maintained. The hosts were super friendly and these guys are working hard to make this a great place. Cute little store on sight. Definitely would return. It is a few Km off the highway but we like things off the beaten path. Best of all, there was no railroad noise.

Beautiful property and close proximity to the mountains! I was there with only with a couple of other camper but pretty much felt like I had the whole place to myself. I thought the baby cows were a cute touch. I would come here again.

We came across Robert and Corrie’s property the night before our trip and were able to book no problem! The place is beautiful, calm and clean. It was a lovely getaway. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful area! The campground is surrounded by mountains and farm, with really nice views of stars at night. The campground had flushing toilets and sinks which were a nice surprise! Spots are pretty close together, but we were surrounded by empty spots and people were all very considerate and quiet. Would recommend!

It’s now too common to take full charge for missing a reservation. I understand if it blocks others from camping there. But if you have other available locations, why do I incur full charges? I will start reporting this a thing to improve. I even had to pay for eggs I never got. lol

Very mellow. Tons of campsites, but few were being used. Robert introduced himself but was otherwise not in our biz. When we needed something from his store, he opened it right up. Clean toilet n shower. Bonus: just a few minutes from REO Rafting.

Ground's flat, water's working and HAS FLUSHING TOILET! Robert was very communicative and responded to my messages promptly. Met Robert in the morning and he's a friendly dude! I only stayed for one night due to trip planning, but I'd come back to stay longer for sure. PS: some sites have trees and shade, but if you're running Starlink be sure to ask/ pick a site that has clear line of sight!
