Specific to the campground:
PROS: Google Maps and Apple Maps will take you directly to the entrance, so there’s no way you’ll get lost. The campground is clean and well maintained. Most, if not all, campsites have running water. A few small sites are surrounded by trees and vegetation, offering a bit of privacy. There is one hot-water shower and 3 flush toilets, and the owner was very accommodating when we asked to move our tent to a different part of the camp.
CONS: The toilet lights don’t work, and even though the campground is not large, there was almost always a line for the showers and toilets.
Specific to the people in the campground:
We have been camping for years, averaging about 12 nights per year (including international trips), and this is the first time we were deeply disappointed by the behaviour of other campers. Some ran generators for hours late into the night, and one large group decided that many hours of non-stop karaoke were more important than the peace and quiet of everyone else. In the early morning, we were also concerned to see multiple campsites that had left food outside all night.
