Nestled in the woods, our site provides a shady escape from the 30-40 degrees Celcius summer Okanagan heat. Cross the bridge into your own private Oasis. Trees are shelter and homes to various birds. Pitch your tent in an open space at the base of the mountain. Relax on the deck of our Cottage and take in the fresh air whilst listening to the song birds. Located off Highway 6, a 10 minute drive to colourful Kalamalka Lake which boasts of sandy beaches and gorgeous hikes, and a 6 minute drive to beautiful Lavington Park with a playground, off leash dog park and free public swimming pool access during July and August. Walk down the path to your own private creek access, bring a book and relax in a chair by the water and take a dip in the refreshing creek. Note: This site is not accessible by car. You will need to park in front of the bridge, wagons are provided. If lots of rain is forecasted please bring tarps, there are plenty of trees nearby to devote too. There is a powered covered cooking/eating area. You may use the bbq and gas burners at no charge. Drinking and potable water is provided. This site uses a composting toilet with bags that will need to be removed after use and disposed in the appropriate location.This site can accommodate a 6-8 person tent. There is an undercover outdoor cooking shelter and composting toilet. Use of bbq / camp stove available upon request. Shower/jacuzzi tub is accessible by appointment. A quick walk across the bride into your own private oasis.

A beautiful private campsite, with awesome hosts! My kids, dog and I had a fabulous stay! Close driving distance to many beaches and to Vernon's city center. Would highly recommend!

Sweet spot, sweet host! We loved our stay; it was quiet and restful and Kristi had provided everything you need for cooking and relaxing. I would recommend bug spray- mosquitoes were vicious.

Great balance of nature and support - showers available if needed and soft motion-detecting trail lighting and a gravel pad. Quiet after traffic dies down & really nice tree cover for protection from sun and rain. Very friendly and personable host. Thanks!

Kristi’s hipcamp property was very welcoming and clean. I had a great visit tenting and sitting around the fire pit. Tent site was flat and surrounded by mature trees. Nice hideaway/getaway!

I stayed here on my own just for one night. It was so much more than I had expected! I would love to return some time for a longer stay and with some friends/family — just to truly take in all this campsite has to offer!

Easy camping success here, with a nice gravel tent pad, washroom, outdoor cooking amenities, and Kristi was really friendly and thought of everything. Our group of 4 had a really good time, thanks!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kristi's land. She was very personable and helpful, always available to answer our questions by text and readily within reach. She even provided us with s'mores and chocolate for the campfire. Additionally, she offered us access to a jacuzzi and shower to ensure we were well replenished. Kristi has taken excellent care of the camping spot and amenities, and we would gladly return. It was a pleasure to stay and connect with Kristi and her family!
