I bought this magical property 13 years ago and I have developed it from beach to mountain with the idea of sharing it with epic humans since day 1. It is 1 acre of pure natural and artistic bliss. The natural wonders include a massive beach with space for many, a gigantic sling shot, sweet fire pits, comfortable lawn chairs, paddle boards, kayaks, a cedar strip canoe, and many other toys free for you to explore. Please note that the Beach house guests have priority of the Gazebo but there are many spots/tables and parasols set up to enjoy all other spots on the beach. My property has 2 rentals on it, the other is right on the beach called "Sweet beach house-edge of the water", in case you wanted to book both locations. There are also a couple of sites for extra guests to pitch a tent on for a fee. Its like jurassic park here...very tropical and chill. The artful camper boasts of an outdoor spa and deck, BBQ, mini fridge, fantastic lake and mountain views and access to the beach from 9am-8pm. The other rental a.k.a. The beach-house comes with an attached outdoor 1950's style kitchen, oudoor on demand shower, outhouse, fire pits, lawn chairs, and free use of water vessels. It is located steps from the water. Truly magical.Welcome to your artistic dwelling nestled in the trees over looking the mesmerizing magic and beauty of Kootenay Lake. This destination isn't just a place to stay—it's an invitation to experience life at its most extraordinary. This is your passport to a world where nature reigns supreme; artistry dances with the elements with uncompromising comfort. This wild and remote rental is a blend of getting back to basics with delightful modern comforts. The space A vintage modernized camper awaits... The camper has a double size bed, table for 4, fan/heater, soda stream, delightful kitchen, and all the amenities to prepare gourmet meals. The 900sq/ft partially covered deck boasts 4 comfy chairs, fridge, BBQ, fire pit and a credenza to store your extras. The spa contains a turn of the century tub for you to soak in while you bask in the light cast by the vintage stain glass. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet with an incredible lake and mountain view, or an interactive beach experience, look no further. There is a tent site/deck located 20ft away in the giant cedars that you may book for friends or kids for an extra charge. Consciousness and responsibility Please do not bring plastic water bottles. The tap water here is considered to be some of the safest and delicious water in the world. Also you are required to recycle and keep the beach and your site clean and clear from buts and garbage at all times. Beach access The spacious beach is located 50 stairs from this site and is shared with another rental. The massive beach has 4 zones set up with designer beach chairs, tables and parasols. Simply grab your towel and head down to drink your ice cold bevy under a provided umbrella or play on the many water vessels provided. Beach access is from 9am-8pm. Free use of paddle boards, kayak, and cedar strip canoe. Please be respectful and courteous of other guests or perhaps you want to rent both locations for your family and friends. Absolutely loved this spot! The setup was super cozy, unique, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The beach was beautiful and well-stocked with water crafts, comfy chairs, and all the little extras that make a big difference. Babs was such a warm and welcoming host—so easy to talk to and genuinely thoughtful. The beautiful weather was just the cherry on top. Already looking forward to coming back!

Bab’s place was perfect for a weekend away. The site was beautiful, weather was great, and our pup especially enjoyed it! We loved exploring the small towns nearby, especially the artisan shops and local eateries. Highly recommend retreating yourself at this unique spot!

Babs' place was wonderful. The camper had a stunning view over Kootenay Lake, and the amenities on the beach made the stay even more fantastic. It truly is a retreat, and Babs has great recommendations for local places to eat and explore. 10/10, would go back, super fun.

Bab's property is lovely. Very peaceful, well-maintained, clean, with amazing views. Babs was very helpful, provided suggestions, and tips, and connected us with Phil who was looking after Bab's property in her absence during our stay. Phil was also great. Always on site and ready to help with anything. I also appreciated my temporary beach office (I had to work during our stay) - the wifi signal is strong and reliable. We and our dogs had such a good time. Thank you very much, Babs, for sharing your little paradise with others:)

Very cute and well decorated trailer. The covered deck was great, with plant and flower pots, comfy chairs, toaster oven and fridge, as well as the clawfoot tub in the rustic bath house. It was the relaxing cozy getaway that I was looking for.

Bab’s place was a wonderful retreat as advertised. We were 2 adults & 2 dogs, there was plenty of space on the deck outside & the trailer did fit us all, the sleeping is a bit tight for 2 adults but for a shorter stay is was totally fine. The staircase to the beach is a haul but worth it! Bab’s is very helpful & chill, so expect good vibes. Overall a wonderful glamping site!

Babs hosts some FANTASTIC sites! I took my 2 toddlers for a week and we all enjoyed ourselves! The beach is beautiful and well maintained and was the perfect spot to post up for the day. It has been one of the most comfortable spots for my and my ferals to relax. This place is magical and you feel it. We're coming back (to the beach house) in September and we're so excited to go back!

Babs's place is really special. She's a lovely human who is offering to share a slice of her lovely property. You should go! The trailer is neat and tidy with everything you need. The bath house is so charming, all upcycled elegance. The lake is gorgeous, though, honestly, we had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the view up on our private deck. So relaxing! Will be back for sure :)

Beautiful space, nice and peaceful. Host was very friendly and fun. Accommodated us with a propane fire pit due to fire ban which was very kind. Only complaint is we wished we could have stayed longer ! Would recommend for sure .
